I really don’t want to be mean but she seemed fine until the third set when her opponent was gaining momentum. This sudden illness is getting old.
She has showed signs of nerves/stress affecting her physically as early as her great run at Wimbledon before her US Open win. I think once she starts to truly believe she is a top player, these illnesses will disappear.
You are not being mean but it is a tactic she employs if she is losing. Invent an illness and call the trainer to put the opponent off and change the momentum of the match.
@@PreservationEnthusiast I think she will never get to the top. Sorry to disappoint her fans. And the reason for it is not because she is lacking talent. What a fluke 😂
Why can't she just admit that she just was not the better player in this match? It's so obvious from watching the match. Instead there's all this talk about some sort of 'bug' while she feels fine physically and mentally? There seems to be this constant replay of illness and injuries whenever she loses a match.
You guys just want to hear what you want to hear. She literally said that Wang handled the conditions better, her tactics work. How should she then answer the first question-that she was completely fine even though she clearly/visibly wasn't? Explaining how she felt and giving credit to the opponent aren't mutually exclusive.
@@iliauy7831 watch the whole vid b4 U respond or if you fail to understand what she said about the shots her opponent was hitting, then there is nothing much to be said. To respond to your question, a simple gracious reply would be ‘ I’m not going to talk about that and take credit from my opponent who played better’ which is what most pro tennis players say at conference even when they show some sort of discomfort during the match.
@@dordish I hope you're not an Ostapenko fan
@@teddyirons8240 why would I be?
100%, she is so arrogant and delusional..she also tried to hit Yang on match point...and then gave her a cold handshake. Truly embarassing behavior.
Now, let's hear from all the tennis 'experts', who have never accomplished anything of note, rip her apart with their first hand experience analysis.
even a dullard like you should be able to see that 30 tournaments now since that 1 run in 2021 show what the limited true level really is. has never even won 1 single set off a Top 10 player. 30 tournaments is a sample size that tells the story.
It's not her fault, it's the media, especially British, that elevated her to a status that doesn't reflect her abilities, Sofia Kenin, Bianca Andreescu, both won 1 slam , and disappeared afterwards, while the Brits declared her the new sensation of tennis , but it is clear she doesn't fit the bill , her body doesn't hold up, just imagine a match against Sabalenka , or Swiatek, she'd get blasted off the court in the most humiliating way...
@@fredrit323 do you see any accountability in this press conference - "it was the wind" "I was great then I wasn't" etc ? it is really surprising that this player has been through an unprecedented number of coaches in the timeframe. Can't blame it all on the media.
you never accomplished anything too compared to her so...
@@fredrit323 Andreescu actually had decent results apart from the grand slam win.
One hit wonder!
One hit more than you’ll ever achieve!! :)
@@thomasmadden4150He/She probably wasn't born into a rich family and doesn't play tennis for 10 hours a day. Clown 🤡

To win even one big one is not easy as Goran a great player he only had one big one
A one hit wonder is far better than a no hit wonder likr the bed wetting loser @michaelkim9640
overrated player
Current Ranking 296. At the 2021 US Open, Raducanu became the first qualifier in the Open Era to win a major singles title. Just trying to make her way back after 3 surgeries. Not overrated. Some people don't like her because she is young, rich, skilled and attractive.

@@commentwell3870I get it. It's ironic that your name is comment well.
We will push on, good luck trainer, 5 coaches in 2 years says it all, she is simply out of her depth and not good enough
Jeez, Excuse, after excuse, after excuse, why cant she just say that "today i was beaten by the better player", apart from that, i dont trust anyone who talks in 'like', she never, ever, ever, gives her oppponent credit.
To those who still wonders why she's so disliked by many just watch this interview
She's not so disliked. It's all in your head.
horribly conceited person. taking no responsibility and not giving credit to her opponent. how are people not surprised that she has had so many coaches. and did you see how she tried to hit her opponent on the last point of the match. and then didn't even stop to shake her hand - didn't even break stride and made eye-contact for a split second.
Oh give over. You hate her because she’s way out of your league.
@@emmabrooker166no, she's just overrated...
She's not disliked. Just see how fans react to her on court.
Nonsense
What is the meaning of crappie little shot? just accept that she was better today and then she wins. We all know that you use to be better in games, you will be better farther in the season.
I am not sure why people defend her here when she refers to her opponent's shots as being "crappy little shots"...very disrespectful and full of herself.
OMG with the throwing up in her mouth. Too much info. Give credit to your opponent. She beat you.
She literally said, at 3:20, "she was gonna have to beat me, and she did."
Listen.
no respect whatsoever for Yafan…
Yang made her first ever 3rd round in grandslam singles. Got beat by a retiring womens player, she literally is a one hit wonder. She hasnt even won a second tier WTA 125 tournament... even absolute nobodies have won multiple WTA 125/250 and even 500s. Shes ment to be in her prime years, especially as a female player.
How many "absolute nobodies" have won a Grand slam? Oh, that would be one.....Emma!

Why does she have a privilege of press conference as only one among losing players so far?
Have you seen Ons, Pegula, Kasatkina and Rybakina ones too. They are all seeded and knocked out. Everyone gets a fair share of press con
