I would but my exhaust is aftermarket now and the NPP Exhaust that comes stock on the car is no longer on the car so I don't get to choose if it's quiet or loud, it's loud all the time now lol, sorry man

Car looks and sounds good, do you remember if they had to remove any oil lines to install the headers? I keep seeing conflicting information on whether or not they have to be removed for clearance on Z51s because of the dry sump
I think they did, I believe my buddy the mechanic who did it said he had to do an oil change after words because of the z51 dry sump oil lines. But I'm not 100 percent sure, that's all I know.

Nice man congratulations. I’ve had headers + x pipe on my c7 for a while now and I love the sound. Next step is stage 3 Cam get some chop! You should consider it!

why stage 3 and not 4?

@@mobleyMobley because most companies usually only offer up to a stage 4 cam and anything bigger would cause PVC issues or require relief cuts into the piston
Sounds awesome!! I ordered American racing headers with X-pipe with cats. Did your x-pipe have cats and if so, how was the exhaust smell? Heavy? I have a convertible and don’t want to have to smell that exhaust in the cabin you know?
No cats on mine and the exhaust smell gets pretty heavy at times, but that's what you get with no cats.
It’s perfect now i guess. Nothing more. Ah maybe smaller mufflers?

No smoke, but not really understanding what your asking.

I study in US specifically in Virginia
Just saw one with 155k mileage so I was wondering if it’s good for daily use
And it’s automatic not manual
I've seen plenty of people daily them, it's all gonna come down to what your comfortable with and like or not like about the car, most are not going to have anywhere near close to that mileage.

you didn't get a CEL because of the o2 sensors it came with or because u tuned it?
Tuning it made the CEL go away

It actually had some corsa extreme axel backs on it
How long did it take to arrive after ordering. That’s the only problem I’ve had.
I would say it took mine about 2-3 weeks but it could be alot longer now given the state of covid and stuff
All the shops around me wont install because there not California Certified how did a shop install yours

@nekojackk97 Texas is not as strict with car mods, your from California how do you not know about that lol, it's all over tik tok and Instagram, you can't mod your car in Cali without getting in trouble.

How do you pass the smog check, that is what keeps me from getting headers on my c7 Z here in California it’s a big deal
That's because you live in California bruh, "Commifornia", too many rules on cars over there, here in Texas it's a different story, good luck doing anything over there with your car and getting tickets modding your car. Get out of there lol 😆

Did it required a tune with headers?
Yes it does! The check engine light will appear on the dash and it won't go away until you get it dyno tuned

No it did have a check engine light after putting on the headers, but I dyno tuned it and they got rid of it.

Should really get a tune after install
Yes I know, that's my next thing to do on the build, hopefully here in the next month, I don't drive it hard or too often, only been driving it on the weekends.

@@TheRogueVette Tuning is good to take advantage of the increase in power and to prevent the fault light from appearing on the O2 sensor.
But I don't think it's dangerous for the sircular engine without the catalyst, I don't think it influences combustion.
Many guys put downpipe without cat, and put a 90º simulator for the rear O2 sensor. and they don't make tune
How is the drone?
Slight drone above 80 miles an hour, but I don't mind it

Hey! I just got a red z06 myself and have been thinking about doing headers and x pipe. I had a question if you could please answer! Do you think this would void warranty first off? I wouldn’t think it would unless it caused a problem somehow but also does it require a tune? I saw you got a tune for it in another video and I know that headers do good with a good tune for them but is it absolutely needed? Or would it run fine without one. Really just want them for the sound to be honest. Thanks!
I think it would void the warranty and yes the headers WILL require a tune, the CEL will be activated on the dash, you want to have a good tune so the car is running optimally!

@@TheFr1d it's a catback I believe, it has the ARH Longtube Headers with ARH offroad X pipe and then the corsa extreme catback exhaust

Any drone at 2000-2500 rpm on around 60-80 mph?
I'd say there is a little drone at about 80 but it's really nothing. My friends 5.0 has full exhaust and at the same speed it's like 10x more worse.
