What Evelyn did wasn't great. She undermined Alan's authority as a parent and potentially endangered Jake. But to play a devil's advocate, I would say that understanding that your parents & other authority figures aren't gods is important, as well. They don't have and shouldn't have unequivocal control over all of your actions. It's a very good lesson to learn before you're 18.

A young woman was snatched outside a rock show, and killed, here on the east coast . Morgan Harrington. and she was much older than Jake. FACT. I ran into two dangerous guys at a concert , when i was 18. Thankfully , my best friend was with me, realized we were too close to their car , sensed what i didnt, and literally pulled me to safety. FACT. Young ppl let their guard down .
