This is the only psychic/medium I've seen who I actually find hard to disbelieve. He doesn't do cold readings, it's crazy!

The video here he acknowledges they met before they got a camera. He used a lot of that info to make it look like he got that from her deceased father during the "reading" on air.

There's close to 10 appearances on RUclips going back 5 years. These aren't strangers he's meeting for the first time. They acknowledge that they spoke off camera about his aunt which we never got to see. Matt also told another news anchor Shannon Miller her grandfather had passed and he was a Marine. Turns out, she posted a photo on Instagram of her grandfather in his military outfit and mentioned he was a marine. This was of course before her "reading."
But I'm sure you believe he got that info from the grandfather and not the internet. I'm not suggesting he always does research. Cold reading is his go to method. Also, doesn't the bible frown upon psychics? I imagine someone with the name Jesu Spectre might be contradicting their faith a little. Better repent soon.

You sit at home and make judgments based on TV segments, but you refuse to do your own research. ( Be honest, are you ambulatory? Do you get out of the house?) If you had any experience at all in television, you'd know that's not how it works-- the segments are prepared during the break, but not scripted. If he wanted to hide his discussions he wouldn't mention it, you dumb lard ass. If you had even bothered to see Matt Fraser live, or get a private reading, or view his other videos, you'd see that he does literally scores of readings at his live group events and gives tons of unguessable, unresearchable super specific information. He's even done man on the street readings for random participants. You can purchase a reading from him and change the person to be read at the last moment. But you won't mention any of that, because you have an atheist agenda, you silly godless hunk of lard. Be honest, do you have a job? Are you employed? Because you don't have the critical thinking skills of a lab rat. Oh, and by the way I'm an atheist too-- my videos are clickbait. Have you seen behind the scenes footage of Matt's new show? Have you seen any of the unedited footage? If not, you don't know shit.

Most normal, rational, critically thinking people go down the dusty 1970's list of theories about how Matt Fraser does it.
1) Cold reading.
2) Hot reading and Facebook searches and long nights memorizing.
3) Guesses.
4) Vague generalities that fit everyone.
Then most normal, rational, critically thinking people realize after watching Matt do this continually for even an half hour, that not all of these theories apply or can work for every single piece of information in every reading. That's right. When you're watching a live reading, after he's been doing this for almost two hours, it dawns on you-- How could he memorize 20 or 30 people's super-specific, high-stakes personal anecdotes from their relatives and pick people out of an audience with facial recognition (he walks right up to people, but you wouldn't know this). And how can he have memorized all their information just from a credit card purchase and research on Facebook, Intellius, or Instagram and Ancestry.com. How could he guess unresearchable, specific information like "Do you wear her scarves now"? How can he do it for people picked at the last minute? How could he find information about seniors who don't have an active Facebook presence, or none at all? And how can he specifically find ultra-personal information like "Do you still sleep with your dead son's blanket? Yes. Dude, that's not on Facebook., and it's so specific that it can't be a guess. "Was your husband a pharmacist at Walgreens?" "Did he always sing 1960's folk songs?" He does this for hours. And here you are spewing the 1970's theory -- It's all cold reading! You simply cannot be more stupid. Now you're embarrassed because you didn't really think it all through before your first post, so you call everyone "crazy" and you bow out. Lame. PS: You can't be married.

I worked for my aunt in our family home my great grandmother owned and had all 13 of her kids in. I would show up and call my aunt to ask her where the banana bread was and she would just laugh and say grandmas cooking again. Mediums are fun for me as I am from a culture not commonly heard of in Australia .....however I often get mistaken for an islander.......and ......mediums funny enough make the same mistake. And they suppose history of drug use in the family (there is none)..... traditional robes etc (not to my knowledge nor experience ), they usually get everything wrong, and what they suppose is quite common in the area or for the mistaken culture .
I can't think of many things that would make me happier than knowing that communicating with the dead is actually possible. Just being able to know that one day we will be able to see our loved ones will definitely make our lives a thousand times better. But honestly, think about it: if you were dead and you had to relay on psychic mediums to communicate with people you love that are still alive...would you be really giving these kind of messages to them? Why would you need to tell your loved ones the way you died? Wouldn't you be doing something different? Idk, I feel like if I was dead, I'd try something different. Or if I happened to be a psychic medium, I'll definitely try some other way of validation. Thanks
I agree 100%. If he was actually speaking to her father it would be a complete miracle and potentially they're only chance to speak in this life. Surely, he would have a specific statement or apology he never got to make. Advice that could change her life. But what does he talk about? Breathing issues, car rides and vacation. So we're expected to believe that the presenters dead father has crossed the great divide - and completely wrongly was laughing about his son being dis-organised with his paperwork !! ??

He most likely got that information off air. He acknowledges they met already. Probably gave her a cold reading. Something like, "I'm seeing you and your dad on car rides is that correct?" She says, "yeah in our old station wagon." It's that easy. You'd be surprised how much people give up during a "reading". Also, a station wagon is a very common car especially from 60s-90s. Sometimes you get lucky other times you don't. Like when he mentioned the messy paperwork. Not so lucky...

Great little technique: talk so fast and for so long that he burns off the airtime, and the recipients don't get a chance to say whether he is accurate. Looks convincing enough to fool the commenters.
The first women looks like pre-show work. Matt acknowledges they already met. He most likely gave her a cold reading back stage and went on camera armed with information we never got to see. Back stage probably went like this:
I'm seeing an older male figure with health issues. The women tells him yes, my father has passed. Matt takes a 50/50 guess and says is your mother alive? The women says yes. Matt then says, yes he's showing me that & he still comes around her. All guesses, with her giving up all the info. It's that easy folks. Sounds like they talked about the car rides and the station wagon as well, but we didn't get to see that.
Once on air, he describes any father daughter relationship. Family vacations, car rides, very close to each other, all basic things that apply to anyone. No mention of who the kid is that passed away, or how. Anniversary that just passed or coming up? Wow, that about covers an entire 12 month period. Why didn't her dad show him a calendar with a month on it?
Also, keep in mind Matt is from Rhode Island & probably is familiar with this show. He's also appeared on it before. There are ways to know a person's father's name and whether or not they're still alive without talking to the dead. He could've looked it up or learned that information last time he was on the show backstage.
Notice he was wrong about the messy paper work. Matt plays it off as a joke and tells him to stay organized. That's all there is to it. Take a guess. If you're right go with it and if not, learn to cover your ass, or turn it into something else.

Same thing with the father's name. Matt also knew he has 2 daughters. How could he know that? I googled his name and read his online bio that says he lives in Warwick with wife and two daughters. Took 30 seconds. There are ways to accomplish this without talking to the dead.
Look up Matt's other videos, and you'll see examples of him giving the same description of the Aunt to other people. Glue that held the family together, family parties, all dressed up. Sometimes its the aunt, sometimes its a grandmother or mother, but the details are identical.
And I do want to believe. If this kid can actually talk to the dead it would be the greatest discovery in human history. I just think what he's doing is proof of that in any way.
You're right about one thing. Matt doesn't have to share his "gift". He also doesn't have to charge money but he does. $350 for a phone call $450 for Skype. His website also has a disclaimer that this is for entertainment purposes only. So when he's making people cry talking to dead people is that real, or just for entertainment purposes?
I've seen Tyler Henry and Theresa Caputo. Same deal. Guessing game with vague general questions. Who's the man with the chest problems that passed? Women with breathing issues? Young male that died? Interesting thing about the clip you provided, he never mentions Matt Laurer's personal and professional life was about to be completely ruined. If a medium screws up, does anyone ever call them out? If this guy made a mistake, you would never get a word in edgeways. He dumps so much information so quickly, I think these people block out the things that do not apply, and cling on to those that at least vaguely apply. I think it would be more interesting if he could name specific names, places, or events, it should not be that difficult for him if he was actually speaking with them.

He's not guessing. He's just passing on what he's being shown or told from the other side. There may be miscommunication, which isn't the messenger's fault. The paperwork is simply that man and his father's different opinion of what constitutes a mess.

Why doesn't he solve murders if he is this good. I never understood if he can speak to the dead why not go solve murders.
Legal issues - Law enforcement sometimes work with them but it seems to be on the down low....also what about the medium, it must take a toll on him dealing only with murders.
