This isn't a re-recording. Just Remastered by Kris Crummett. He produced all the other LPs and they wanted him to remaster AS. But it definitely does showcase their talent in 2013, and brings a whole new light to AS because of the clarity of everything
I’d love to see like our duck bro reviving robot or smth, since it’s obvious in Son of Robot he was gunna do a time loop, but what if he had saved him instead of going back to Young?
pretty sure they changed out the bpm by like click and made some of the individual parts more clear like the toms at one point like 2:56 or somewhere but idk . I played the old version at the same time and could pick that out for the most part.
This remaster was done by Kris Crummett. He simply remastered Matt Malpass' work. Everything else they've done has been done with Crummett as the original producer, so it wouldn't make sense for them to remaster stuff he's already done.
Guy, I'm pretty sure we're not going to get any re-releases of any videos. I think that it's just a re-mixing and mastering of acceptance speech from a different producers perspective which is why there's no vocals in the intro.
@@hardyrulez96 Nahp. It's the same producer as all of their albums... EXCEPT for Acceptance Speech which is why it sounds so different than their other work.
I'm gonna drop a probably controversial opinion here but I wasn't a huge fan of this one before. This though, Tilian sounds so much better, the part at 2:55 sounds fucking amazing, just overall it's listenable now. Ye, good shit!
Yeah the production on the original was lacking. They went to a different producer for the album instead of Kris Crummett, who recorded every other album they’ve done. And guess who remixed and remastered this? Kris Crummett. He’s basically the 7th member of the band at this point.
sometimes i think i’m getting too old for DGD but then i wake up, lmfao it’s actually so ridiculous what their sound is if you showed this shit to a caveman he’d probably start wiggling uncontrollably. i’m feelin beatles-jimi level psychedelia so hard
I can still hear the "Hush now, dont cry, everything will be just fine" at the beginning but in my head even if it's not in the song anymore. Miss that part tho.
@@mpk6664 Drums are easy to re-do. You can take the original track and use the hits to trigger different sounds at the same velocity and timing. It's still Matt playing but some sounds might be switched out.
anyone prefer the original mix to this one? don't get me wrong, this one is clearer and the bass is sick, but Tilian's vocals sound worse in the beginning and Jon's feel less powerful throughout the whole song.
i mean im not mad or anything, but does anybody else feel this song is VERY bass heavy? my speakers are barely on and its thumping the room. again, not a bad thing
The death of "Hush now don't you cry, Everything will be just fine"
who is hush ? is it riddler in batman movie ?
He said that tho
@@Ricky-on3vn he means in the opening.
Ricky Witte You hear it in the first album of Acceptance Speech not in 2.0
Hanzel Ibardo "hush" means like "silence" but agressive so isn't a person, is an action lol
Had to do a double take to make sure it didnt say instrumental in the title
dude same here
I third that!
they released an instrumental version of this 2.0 album as well!
@@derekwright5722 well duh.
Saaaaaameee
Something tells me we're getting a remake of the original death of the robot video but with a different ending...
Gerardo Aguas-Baterísta/Drummer would be dope tbh
P L E A S E
That would be fucking amazing
Nope. Whatever told you was a lie.
Oof
Drop everything when dgd drops something.
you won’t realize it’s over tiLL YOU SLIP INTO UNCONSCIOUSNESS
yes i was like... woah tillian whats that mean
This song is about a robot, but the remaster made it sound more organic. Oh the irony, oh the genius of this band :)
it wasn't remastered. it Was re-mixed.. There are some new elements to it
@@XxdillffxX issa remaster.
Shoutouts to the guy who typed the lyrics properly fr fr
You are the Best Band in the world Guys !!!!
Of course *_*
I've been obsessed with this song for the past two weeks

Same 😂
So did he

SAME. It'll never leave my mind. 🤣
Nyshika Stormix so what does it say!? 😭
Love the new 2.0 album!
I had a "SHRAGGY?!" moment when the beginning vocals were gone. Then I noticed the reverb on "takes over" was gone too. Oh well. Still amazing.
I know. RIP.
It sounds SO MUCH BETTER. I'm so happy Tilian doesn't sound like T-Pain anymore.
Lmaoooo
I've been asking for this remaster on yourube and twitter for like 5 years. I'm so excited how much better it is.
I still like the old version more, but maybe that's just nostalgia.
Still remember seeing them live and tilains voice was so good
Hard to believe the original came out 6 years ago
Increibleeee!!! Son los mejores chicos!! Se escucha excelente!!!
Tbh I still hear the “Hush now don’t you cry” part at the beginning in my head.
2.0 thank you 🙏 thank you!!!!!! I love you guys.
So worth the wait
Wonder why they chose to take out the vox in the intro 🤔🤔🤔
I think it's a hint to a new video or something in the storyline....

they took out the beginning vocals :(
Could be a hint at a new storyline unfolding?

this is the sound dgd definitely deserved from the start. FUCK YESS FEED MY EARSSS

Next song in the series, ghost of robot
SOOOO much better
I wasn't a fan of Tillian when he debuted because they put too much postprocessing on his voice
This makes things so much better oh man
I guess I can be loud and crying in the beginning now :(
(Song is still dope tho)

Such a strong allegory to society. Swallow your pride, let your new mind take over. Can't beat the symbolism. DGD!

How is this one different from the original on the original Acceptance Speech? Or are they just re-releasing the same songs?
