During the generation of the 3d Sketch, how do you set the points? For me, it seemingly doesn't quite work, no points get generated when I left-click. Do I have to be in a sketch?
I have been able to place points now, but only in isometric view, and only in the XY plane... what could be the solution?
I use CATIA V5-6R2018.
How'd you get into generative shape design? The last video ended in Sketch tracer.
Once you r done with the importing images stuff...
Right Click on "product" on the tree (Select the "product")
click on Start> Shape> Generative Shape Design.
If you look at the video, you will see a 3d line drawn on the blueprint surface.
In a space without anything, the line seems to be bound on one side and can not escape.
I do not know if the contents have been correctly transmitted because it was written as a translator.
Its because of contrains.. You can control that too..
Bro..in 3d curve How i drag the point vertical direction to my convenient one.....
It shows the direction when you choose an entity. It should be fixed in a plane in order to move un only one direction
anyone find when they drew the line from the top looking down, it wouldnt then move up to where it needs to be, like it was stuck

new window is getting open..
Simple.. Just click on model tree.. Then change your workbench to surface modeling..
@@JasperAaronJ its not working..new part window is opening instead of shifting..
@@JasperAaronJ i add the part and editing part body but 3d polyline is not able to drawn on front view of car..

Quick Compass Orientation -> choose the direction or use the ''most seen plane''
@@MrBenio2 I'm having the same issue. Even more, it seems I can only place these points on the XY plane. No other, not even if I start with my view on a different plane or quick view. I feel like there is some sort of setting I may be missing.

As default, I can only draw on XY plan, how can i edit it and draw also on XZ or YZ plan ?
