I'm sorry I griefed you for all your loot.. J/k the last time I played games they only existed the imagination of nerds on pencils and paper with weird looks and weirder dice. When I first heard this band when it came out I was in love
Late to the party. Just happened to look up the Epoxies on YT after hearing a song that reminded me of them. I never knew they played EQ2. I miss that game. Hell, I miss decent MMOs.
When I moved into the Ondine in Fall 1995 I met Roxy Epoxies crew at the Roxy. This was shortly before Gabe sent me, Morticia, and Surfer Arianna to work as Courtesy Clerks for Johnny Jewel. SAB had just been renamed the Spin Age Blasters by David Thomas - and we had put together SAB (the Germs), the Watchers (X), and all the Fringe-Weird bands but one - Girl Jam which was to be Jenna, Arianna, and Marisa's all girl band. Ida Cross was our Screamer, Clorox Girls our DIls - the Household Highs the Zeroes, Courtney and the Crushers our Weirdos, but in the 90s we were out of time. I know less about Roxy than I do about Ida - but each over 21 band needed an underage counterpart to earn - the money went in several directions = from Thee O to Berbati's Pan then to Dantes, from Thee O to Satyricon, and from Stage 4/Meow Meow to whoever was playing there. Shows in 90s PDX were usually three dollars at the door - and besides our CIRCLE FOUR scene there was the Bromley Contingent based in Laurelhurst including the Riffs, Kaseys, Exploding Hearts - and after 2001 the Nice Boys and the Neat. In metal we had Diamond Tuck and Danava - in Southern Rock the Silverkings. Roxy was often featured in fanzines as Hecate (Head Cheerleader) and associated with Boston - but it was a hard climb and it wasn't till 1999 that I saw them for the first time at Satyricon -
I remember seeing them in deep ellum they were in tour with the apers and groovie ghoulies. I also remember watching the apers preform and seeing this weird looking girl dancing on the floor. Then the epoxies played and she was on stage singing and dancing her butt off. it was pretty cool.
Can anyone tell me how the hell I can buy this track or album please? I first heard it years ago and Shazam only just helped me figure out who it was recently, but now I can’t find anywhere to buy it lol TIA homies

True Story: I used to play EQ 2 with these guys! I wonder where they are now. If you're reading this gang, Magos misses you!
