Depends. It worked in Dragon Ball with Goku. Though it kind of sidelines Gohan and makes him less significant. For Tekken, the story is already batshit crazy that a character coming back from the dead is okay with us 🤗
Granblue is very underrated, I totally suggest giving it a look! Definitely look at the Super Moves, they're all beautifully animated. Terry coming to Street Fighter also makes my heart grow 80x bigger :)
You guys may not be shocked to see Terry enter into the world of Street Fighter, but to me as a huge fighting game fan. It is still shocking to see him in a capcom game. This is the very first time Capcom brought an SNK character. Not one but two SNK characters. Plus you guys seriously need to watch Samurai Jack. It really pains me that you haven't seen this cartoon yet. It's one of the best series in Cartoon Network history. It has amazing stories, and great memorable characters. Watch Samurai Jack!

Time to start the Under night and, Granblue Fantasy versus/ versus Rising reactions lol My favorite announcements for Evo were Granblue's, Tekken 8, SF6, Under night, and Multiversus EVO is such a cool event, there's always some cool fighting game stuff happening during that time, and seeing the crowd loose their minds during some announcements is super fun.
Under Night in Birth is a spooky vampire centric series. It's part of the Melty Blood franchise so you get a lot of supernatural characters or hunters that combat such creatures but which an anime twist. Honestly, bone witch girl kind of is the norm. Like you got a guy that uses blood as a weapon, a lady that attacks with shadows, spider kid, a 10-year old girl with giant robot punching gloves..... They are inventive.
You have actually seen some under night in-birth characters you saw them in your bbtag astra finish reaction, they were the characters with a purple background on their portraits

It's a BIG crossover for the FGC. - The director of the Tekken series stated indefinitely that Heihachi was absolutely dead in the story...so now, everyone will know him as a huge liar. -Guilty Gear has never had a crossover character before, so thats exciting! Guilty Gear is also getting a new mode, where you play teams of 3 characters together! - It wasn't announced at EVO, but it was announced that the original Marvel vs Capcom series is getting a remastered collection! The EVO tournaments have a lot of exciting moments at them, some are gameplay and some of them are, uh, not. 😅😅 I'd love to see a reaction to some of those for a future Foght Night Friday! Keep up the good work guys!
As what Clementj64 will always say when Heihachi cheated death, “The man is UNKILLABLE!!!” Raven has only one job and he did wrong again 😂 Heihachi is completely alive 😂 Harada trolled everyone, I thought Heihachi was completely dead after he said that 8 months ago 😅 And what’s great was since Heihachi will be release in Autumn, the free story DLC update is going to be release in Autumn as well. I seriously recommend you react to all the Fatal Fury:City of the Wolves. Especially if you’re into KOF. Also u should react to the Guilty Gear Strive Main and DLC stories since they’re going to have an anime and that’s where the 3rd character (Unika) is from. Luckily they’re in chapters so it’s easy to have episodes out of them

I jumped for joy when I saw Lucy. The first crossover character in Guilty Gear history and it's one of my favorite characters in general. Also you guys would fall in love with Hunter X Hunter. Same creator as Yu Yu Hakusho, and quite a few things from Naruto take direct inspiration from it.
Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising is a game that you guys should give a shot to react either characters trailers or thier supers, about the style is kinda Final Fantasy-esk sense the game creator and staff worked on those games as well, and they have A HUGE FAN BASE. Versusia is an Origial Character from Arc Sys (like Android 21 was for Dragon ball Fighter Z) and technically her importance is huge for the story of the series. About Under Night in-Birth makes sense is kinda a new game for you guys but you already reacted to that game (Sorto), remember the Blazblue Cross Tag Battle Astral Finishers well the game is a cross over of character from Blazblue, Persona 4 Arena, RWBY & UNDER NIGHT, so the Uziki (skullgirls girl) is the first DLC character of that game of the third game, also another game from Arc Sys Works you could react to their Supers as well.
YES I know, about Toriyama desinging Android 21, I needed as an example, know that when Arc Sys Works makes a game based on an IP, they also make original characters to serve the story mode same as for Persona 4 Arena/Ultimax (Labrys and Sho Minazuki), in the case of GBFVR, without going into spoilers of Versus Rising and thanks to the 10th anniversary of Granblue Fantasy game, about who Versusia is, YES she is canon. (Kinda like how the made canon Android 21... sorto). Also, the story mode of Rising is yet to finish, as the next version will expand on it, and considering that season 2 is confirmed, I think the story will continue through the next season.

Sure, there is also Ogre and Jinpachi Mishima, but they are not even close in comparison to Heihachi because he is the OG. The very first villain in the series. So there is no way that Namco gonna take him out.

Im specifically excited for Heihachi. Ive been playing the same damn character since 1995 and even won a few tourneys back in the day too. But they took him away from me lol. Legit the only reason that was keeping me from playing tekken 8. But NOW i can finally pick it up.
I'll talk about the Guilty Gear stuff cuz that's where my knowledge is lol The beta test for the team of 3 mode actually launched last night and it goes until the 29th. It's different from any other type of 3v3 game I've seen, it reminds me a bit of MOBAs like League of Legends if I'm honest in terms of the gameplay lol. Guilty Gear isn't exactly a stranger to that genre either oddly enough. Guilty Gear 2 Overture was a MOBA that actually predates League Dizzy is my favorite DLC character coming this wave, I've been begging for her! She's the daughter of Justice, which gives her the same powers, but unlike Justice, all Dizzy yearns for is contact. She fell in love with Ky Kiske and they had their child, Sin Kiske. Due to their Gear genetics, Dizzy and Sin are both younger than they look and act, but they're both biologically and mentally equivalent to human adults. Gear life cycles are just different like that, grow fast live long. Dizzy is 10 and Sin is 5. Venom is another member of the Assasins guild, he was taken in by Zato just like with Millia. He shows great loyalty and even romantic interest towards Zato. Honestly I'm surprised he's returning, because in the last game he basically went into hiding to act as the fall guy for the Assassins Guilds crimes. He opened up a bakery with Robo Ky! But now he's back. He fights with a pool cue and balls. Unika is super interesting. She's the first newcomer to Strive since Asuka. Guilty Gear actually recently revealed they're making an anime set to release in 2025, that takes place sometime after the events of Strive, and Unika is being set up as the antagonist. All we know about her is that she has a grudge against Gears and wants to destroy them, and apparently in the anime she's going to crash Ky and Dizzy's wedding which will lead to her and Sin fighting. She also interestingly has the same eye color as Dizzy and Justice, and the trailer even seems to allude to her being connected to Justice with a single frame that is a big fat reference to a cutscene from the original Guilty Gear featuring Justice. Time will tell what she's really all about. You guys know about Lucy, I've seen those reactions! Guilty Gears story runs a very tight ship, so it was always hard to imagine them making a crossover work, but Lucy's story really fits the themes of Guilty Gear perfectly, and I can imagine a few satisfactory explanations for her being able to exist if they choose to make her canon, which they honestly might. I suspect that when she shows up she'll probably have some interactions with both Asuka and Axl since they share some story similarities, mainly the fact that Asuka is also living on the moon now lol, and if they try to make an explanation for her to be able to exist then there's a good chance it'll sound a lot like how Axl got here.

To give you an idea of it, the game itself was actually based on a stage play made by Yoko Taro, may many blesses rain upon his house. Entering the DrakeNieR universe is like embarking on a detective hunt piecing together the entire picture. Highly recommend as I actually personally jumped ship from Star Wars to DrakeNieR as my favorite fictional universe from how well written and interesting the world is

@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames 1000% Awesome! I think maybe my contribution to that is that the lovingly monikered "DrakeNieR" is so expansive with such rich characters and deep background. To give you an idea of it, the game itself was actually based on a stage play made by Yoko Taro, may many blesses rain upon his house. Entering the DrakeNieR universe is like embarking on a detective hunt piecing together the entire picture. Highly recommend as I actually personally jumped ship from Star Wars to DrakeNieR as my favorite fictional universe from how well written and interesting the world is
