I love Bette Davis so I was happy for her when I saw this because it makes me think of how she would be sooo happy that all these years later there's something called the internet and people of this modern generation are making something called edits with this song about her she would really feel like a legend. 🤭❤
Now that's two horror films that this song has been used in. For those of you who are curious, yes, Bette Davis loved the song and thanked Kim Carnes for it.
@@TUBE_STAR_BABEComedy Horror not Pure Horror. I do love Maxxxine and quite frankly she reminds me of myself. Willing to do anything to get to the top and away from a overtly religious father.
I'm no movie critic or anything... But I just want to say I think this film is maybe proof that no matter how good an actor is at acting, their real personality does inevitably bleed through into their work, (and I think it has to ((a TINY WEENIE bit)) in order to make the movie more interesting) and when it does, successfully, it envokes really strong emotions of sympathy within the audience. Unfortunately for Mia, playing protagonists might not be her strongest point 😢Not to say that I think shes an ANTAGONIST irl lol, but her public life has been a bit dark and she clearly isn't living life on the straight and narrow... But.... Thats what also makes this movie franchise HERS! Maxxxine Minx is no Saint, but shes still a STAR! hehe! 7.6/10
When the actual Bette Davis heard this song, she was flattered that Kim Karnes had written a song about her!
