Hello Nisha from Vermont, USA. It's a balmy 17 degrees here with about 14 inches of snow. I read a post on Facebook the other day "I've been inside so much I'm starting to look like a homeless person." I'm 69 years young and still do my hair and makeup every day, although like you, I dress comfortably casual. For Christmas this year my husband and I both wore sweat pants and sweat shirts...he puts tie on, I wore pearls. Glad to hear your sense of smell is coming back. Taste and smell seem to be symptoms of covid so I've taken to self-testing by going into the kitchen every 15 minutes or so for a snack. So far, so good. I can still taste chocolate or cookies, but my pants seem to be getting tighter. Stay safe, and keep your sense of humor. Hugs, Cathleen

He's moved into a flat with his sister and she complained this morning to me, that he does the bare minimum. I do hope it's just a lazy phase and not how he's going to be for the rest of his life lol!

I have wondered many times how people can use really dirty makeup brushes, especially those who have sensitive, acne-prone skin. I thought about that when you said how much bacteria is in makeup brushes. I got into the habit years ago of washing my brushes thoroughly after every use. I don’t love doing that, but the idea of washing tons of them at the same time is horrifying. Now I’m in the very nice habit so that I can use fresh, clean brushes every day. Glad to hear your sense of smell is returning!

Many of us are doing the same thing (laying on the couch all day, binging on Netflix, RUclips, shopping online, only wearing lounge wear, trying not to eat or drink too much, etc) we're bored out of our minds! While he's fully recovered, and his sense of smell/taste has returned, he still tires easily after exertion. My step-mom tested positive and has been fighting for her life for the last 2 weeks. She nearly died last weekend. She's being discharged to a rehab today, so we're so grateful that she rebounded!! 🙌🏻 These are crazy times.... I'm in the same boat, some days I just don't know what to do with myself! Lots of long walks with my dog, organizing ALL the cupboards, too much time on social median and online shopping. 🤷🏼♀️

I really believe it's from my hayfever but I can't smell my perfume and that makes me feel miserable. Love your pink candle and pink nails. A week after having COVID, my sense of taste and smell came back... but now three months later some smells and tastes are still off. I love peaches in fruit cups now after hating peaches all my life. Now I can’t stand Doritos, the taste has changed. Universe telling me to go on a diet lol. Anyhoo, I LOVE that wig, I could not tell it wasn’t your natural hair. One of the after effects to my Covid is hair loss, now I’m wig obsessed. So I love your wig reviews and please mention them when you have a chance. Yessss...both my dogs do what I call the “dance”. The 16 year old female is what I call a “Shorgi”...a shepherd and corgi cross, then my 4 year old male is a “Bastiff”...a boxer and mastiff cross. My babies, as my son is 33 with a child now, my beautiful baby granddaughter Aria Evangeline. They all live on their own too...not with mommy, lol.

I have wondered many times how people can use really dirty makeup brushes, especially those who have sensitive, acne-prone skin. I thought about that when you said how much bacteria is in makeup brushes. I got into the habit years ago of washing my brushes thoroughly after every use. I don’t love doing that, but the idea of washing tons of them at the same time is horrifying. Now I’m in the very nice habit so that I can use fresh, clean brushes every day. Glad to hear your sense of smell is returning!
You make me LOL all time! Just the simple honest way you recognize things, it's a clever sarcasm no matter if it's about yourself, others or just the reality of the moment. Many of us are doing the same thing (laying on the couch all day, binging on Netflix, RUclips, shopping online, only wearing lounge wear, trying not to eat or drink too much, etc) we're bored out of our minds! Sooo glad your smell is coming back!! The covid is EVIL! My brother, a firefighter in Miami, FL, got it in late November. While he's fully recovered, and his sense of smell/taste has returned, he still tires easily after exertion. My step-mom tested positive and has been fighting for her life for the last 2 weeks. She nearly died last weekend. She's being discharged to a rehab today, so we're so grateful that she rebounded!! 🙌🏻 These are crazy times....
I'm in the same boat, some days I just don't know what to do with myself! Lots of long walks with my dog, organizing ALL the cupboards, too much time on social median and online shopping. 🤷🏼♀️
Glad you ordered something lavender again, I thought that color looked amazing on you. Hang in there, my sense of smell seemed to improve every two weeks. I had Covid in December and can now taste and smell.

I'm getting my smell back 7 weeks after Covid but its still not back fully. Good yours is coming back👍 I do my own hair have for years so salons not open doesn't bother me.

Hi Nisha, yay I'm so glad you have got your sense of smell back. My sense of smell has gone too, not because of covid because I don't have that. I really believe it's from my hayfever but I can't smell my perfume and that makes me feel miserable. Love your pink candle and pink nails. Love wax melts they are my thing but can't even smell them at the moment xx

A week after having COVID, my sense of taste and smell came back... but now three months later some smells and tastes are still off. I love peaches in fruit cups now after hating peaches all my life. Now I can’t stand Doritos, the taste has changed. Universe telling me to go on a diet lol. Anyhoo, I LOVE that wig, I could not tell it wasn’t your natural hair. One of the after effects to my Covid is hair loss, now I’m wig obsessed. So I love your wig reviews and please mention them when you have a chance. Yessss...both my dogs do what I call the “dance”. The 16 year old female is what I call a “Shorgi”...a shepherd and corgi cross, then my 4 year old male is a “Bastiff”...a boxer and mastiff cross. My babies, as my son is 33 with a child now, my beautiful baby granddaughter Aria Evangeline. They all live on their own too...not with mommy, lol.
