Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Introducing his teaching on the theme scripture of this year Emmanuel Makandiwa highlights on the different levels of life which are lower, medium and greater life.
Giving your life to Jesus Christ is a very wrong approach we have used before. As sinners we gave our lives to God when what we should have done is to come to God and receive life from Him. He has come that we might have life and that we might have it more abundantly. The reason why we don’t have the life that Jesus gave to us is that we didn’t come to receive from him we came to give.
Salvation it is never you giving God anything but God giving you everything. The Man of God gave the title to his message ‘’Christ’s mission that Christians made impossible’’ dwelling on the scripture John 15:13. How do you feel when you sacrifice and lay down your life for a friend and the person you die for doesn’t place value on life. Christians have failed to understand the value and importance of life yet there is a friend who laid down His life for them.

I have a condition that is life threatening and av been believing to come out of. There are times av felt like giving up coz it has denied me enjoying life to the full. Av condended with death several times and I have chosen life each time. Av called my Pastor at midnight hours coz death was knocking. Only lately I was wondering weather may be I should stop fighting but this msg has given me new strength and reason to fight knowing the power to live lies with me. Amen.

God didn't say love your enemy as you love HIM, no He just said love your enemy. For Him He said LOVE GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, SOUL AND SPIRIT. We do not compare the LOVE which we LOVE HIM with love that we love other humans with.
dangerous message for depressed people , because to choose life, you must find life worth it , in the sense that you feel loved, appreciated, capable, productive, creative, but there are times that you feel completely the opposite and there is no help around, you will be devestated inside, and then there is no choice because your life does not contain life as such. you can come to a point that you dont cry anymore, you can still smile, and you wont talk anymore to anybody how you feel because no one is there to help , you can get to the point that you feel nothing anymore , and you realy dont understand why God would want you here on earth, so why suffer here while there is a heaven you can go to? life should be worth it , depressed people dont commit suicide in a day , it takes time and they do warn people around them at times but they are not taken serious .. thanks for this video maybe this will help , but from experience i know that if you dont want then you dont want to be in this life anymore. i guess it all has to do with love , lack of love, loss , unfulfilled desires , hopes gone ,, so what remains when time is up and we are getting older , our joy should be in Him who created heaven and earth , and trust Him that whatever you go through is not for you yourself but for others to be able to help ,
