How could I not see this before, This is truly the ultimate fighting game and I never even played it. Its so diverse, and what I like is that it keeps it old school feel like the square battle arenas which i find very cool. I hope Virtua Fighter popularity raises the roof when people who buy Dead or Alive 5 and play as him are interested to buy Final Showdown.

@Kanjilearner Eileen should really have Miku Hatsune and Fang Mei outfits. Pai in a Shen Hua costume would be awesome, as would Aoi as Xiuying and Joy. Goh should surely have a Chai outift.

after virtua fighter 5, 5R, i'm hoping that final showdown will be the last instalment in the 5th series. virtua fighter 5 has been brilliant throughout- sega needs to port 5R or final showdown to consoles. and then start to work on and release virtua fighter 6 with new fighters and fighting styles added.
They didn't screw it up, they've stated even when the original VF5 release they want to make her more feminine which is what their doing right now, just pointing that out for you.
@KashgroundTM Because I'm not spending too much money on games and I rather spend my money on the improved game with 40 characters I know and love then spend it just for Lion, Jean and Jacky. Once I get 1 the other is staying in the store for a very long time and where I live there are distribution problems
In the arcade version players hold specific buttons before a match to choose themes of previous VF character themes(and VF Pachinko) but in the upcoming console version they can be changed in the game options.
