Done, I can't be there in person but what a weapon. I think you had a different channel when I first saw it but memory goes with age and now I'm a member of the CRAFT club and can't be sure.
Another great video, i love to watch how much Cammie adapts to every situation, she loves to experience new things. Your a very lucky man to be spending time with 2 beautiful ladies!.
The rocket is done so well the paint scheme is great, the pipes are on point, and i think the drop down mirrors look awesome you did a great job on it🤙
Donating the boats and bikes to Forgotten Angels is a good charitable Tax Deduction as well. It goes to a good cause, and it eliminates you having to try and sell them at a fair market price in these economic conditions. Kind of a win-win. I hope these things make Forgotten Angels a lot of money.
You got me thinking of moving to Florida. The Canadian dream appears to be dead on arrival. I'm thinking sunny Florida looks pretty damn good vs. the frozen wasteland I'm trapped in now.
I remember the original rocket III color, all that went into the motor rebuild, the cigar factory house, little jess, Cammie pre-restomod, Waldo, Bobba and so many others. I miss the dirty shame and the old garage hangouts, Txxxxxh Cxxxk, and names i cannot recall. p.s. I'll see you when i win the raffle and come down to claim the Rocket!!
10:29 to 10:49 shovelhead popping & sputtering = I was ALMOST ready to type "It ain't got no gas in it" & waiting for the que to a replay of your "out of gas coasting & rolling to a stop music."⛽ 🤣 > Did a bit of sand cast in public school in a class we used to call "shop" (official name = Industrial Arts) MANY decades ago & made them with wet or better described as damp sand...Recall something about after wet sand prep & letting them sit overnight (hopefully undisturbed) & pour the following day.... Class had those metal clamp casting boxes...Going on memory the trickiest part of process was keeping the pour channels from collapsing & NOT disturbing the sand while assembling the box halves ...Takes a bit of trial & error practice just to get a mold ready...NO expert at all...Just memories of making a few pieces of sand cast a LONG time ago. Then there's the method of lost wax casting ...Hope this helps...
Good day to you. I recommend you take some of the forgotten angels. To the unemployment office to apply for "Job Corp". They will receive job training in different job fields, housing, and food. Job Corp will pay them a small salary and put money in the bank for them so when they finish trying they will be up and running.
Shadetree, You need GREENSAND for casting...here is how to make it.... Buy or dig some clay. Buy or dig sand. Make clay into fine and clean the sand if it has any contaminant. Mix 70% of sand and 30% of clay to make the green sand formula. Finally, mix sand with clay. Alternatively, you can make green sand by starting with 1KG of fine sand, then adding 120g of bentonite clay first.
@ He was starting with that plastic piece. That is why I didn't say greensand. I will be doing some lost foam casting when I start my channel as it gets warmer her win Pa. My first project is building a 1928 Morgan/MG special Hillclimb racer. It will have a bunch of cast parts as well as a hand made adapter plate for the engine on the front to the 4 speed MG transmission. I am going ot change the channel name to machines and motors and start with sourcing the machines I need to build the wood over steel frame and cloth over wood finish.
So your sand needs oil. Water trapped in sand will make it explode. I would also advise carving a piece off your new plastic out of foam. Lost foam needs a bit more refining but you can maintain curves. Mind you I learned casting in college then moved right into supervision for a very small time. So my casting knowledge is mostly scholarly.
I don’t know how long I’ve been watching but the first thing I watched had you and Waldo Trying to get the FXR running so he could go for a ride on what was his FXR .. I had just bought an FXR in a box and was looking for information on how to put it back together I’ve been a fan ever since 😊 thanks for all the great content 😊
11:33 that happened to me. I had a 85 rebel 250 i built from parts, and I mean right down to it having a 2005 engine in it, to which I mated the 85 top end using hope and 3 head gaskets. the bike did NOT have a clutch, and it was push-start only (meaning that if the push start failed, you got to sit there and look for neutral again.) the gas tank was a red gas can that I strapped behind the seat, which gave your legs plenty of room, the lights (headlight & tail light only) only worked when the engine was running because it did not have a battery, and really the only good part on that bike was the single carb w/accelerator pump, which moved that little 250 better than all the chinese dual carbs most people get stuck with. anyway, I ran out of gas on my way to work, and left it in the bushes on a Sunday night. somebody must have thought it was junk, because it was gone when I came back the next morning to get it.
i used to live just up the street from you so i got to know the area you're in pretty well. if you want a pretty ride take lithia pinecrest to SR-39. just gorgeous. take SR-39 through plant city (also a good place to find a tasty taco) up to E Knights Griffin RD past the parks and into lakeland. lots of back florida roads. not the curviest but definitely gorgeous. takes you into lakeland and you can find your way home from there. get back on I-4, get off at McIntosh road, take the back roads back into Dover (moses lake road to n dover road) and you will have a gorgeous loop for a monologue.
I'm sure others have said but just incase I think the sand needs oil in it. What type idk. And I think the frame needs to be bigger on the sides so the sand can support its self. I'm going off of when I did it in high-school lol. I'm happy Jess and Jason are still together and doing good. With all the divorce and break ups happening all the time it's good hearing people doing good. I must say it's fun watching Cammie freaking out but glad she got over her fear lol. I couldn't help it but when I first saw the coconut bra I thought of Monty pythons and the squire making hourse hoov sounds 🤣🤣. Good vid
Got a 22 ft ocean boat, had a hot blonde... lets just say the steering wheel got a different use out of it. Honey, wait till we get out in the middle of the ocean. I only fished with one particular girl on the boat. She knew how to throw a cast net, and fish all day.
Did you actually get it fixed of are you donating another dumpster fire ,and wheres the triumph chopper you cried about and bragged on how you would bring it back or was that just your typical bs

I have seriously said thats what I would do if I won several of the bikes I have entered for. Sadly, I have not had the opportunity yet 😂

Lost foam casting works without greensand. Great for one off small parts.
a little moisture helps a bunch, it's a must, if you can make a snowball there's enough moisture.

Hard for me being in my late forties. I never know what the millenials are saying, and they are the funniest to be around. Thumbs up anyway.
I do remember Jesse grey and her Suzuki savage.
