I LOVE chuck and definitely respect him. And he makes GREAT points. With athletes, weightlifters, powerlifters, bodybuilders or anybody who really dedicates a lot of their time into any physical activity, it is very advantageous to give your bodies a break every once in a while. In weightlifting it’s referred to as deloading…you guys can google this term if you’d like. But the idea is our bodies accumulate physical fatigue over time and for most people it’s between 4-8 weeks where we need to lower our volume and intensity to let our body recover. These deloads last 1 week and once it’s over you can come back fresh and ready to be extremely affective in whatever you’re doing, in this case it’s basketball. Sure these players can tough it out through these “deload weeks” and they’ll still be pretty affective but these load management techniques that are being applied has saved your favorite player from getting injured multiple times.

I feel like being an NBA benchwarmer is secretly the best job to have in the league. You’re basically getting paid to watch basketball around the country and maybe play five minutes a game.
I like how Charles respects regular workers and isn’t trapped in the NBA bubble
Plus the league is safer than it was in 2000’s 90’s-60’s . They keep flopping
Chuck just gets it!! 🎯
CB speak facts
Chuck is right for real
💯 percent. Sir Charles speaks the truth
Facts 🙌 Chuck keeping it real
I don't care for this man but he is right on this one!!!
We done with the soft LeBron era
Huh??? 🤦
@@TouchMeh soft lebron era
So Kobe played in a soft era then 🤣 and Shaq and the 04 pistons and Tim Duncan 🤣 y’all never make sense 🤣 MJ scores 60 of 90 point on his team 🤣 that a weak and soft defense for him to do that he played against plumbers 🤣🤣🤣
Huh?! Go check his game totals, games played per season, and minutes played and come back to this.😂 The last person he’s talking about is Lebron. He dedicated so much more to the game than Chuck ever did.
Buddy what bron gotta do wit this bron actually play💀
True that
"I AM NOT YOUR ROLE MODEL!
(DEFINATELY NOT To One Of These Players) SIR CHARLES!
Finally someone telling it how it is!
He has a point
Kobe- I CANNOT ALLOW PEOPLE SAVING MONEY TO SEE ME PLAY, BUT GETS DISAPPOINTED COZ I CAN'T.
Teams are a business and are trying to preserve and extend their assets.
Teachers and nurses not getting body checked by 250lb 6'8 men on the daily. The load management is to prevent injuries to the star players that people will pay more to see. It's all about money in the end.
And basketball players aren't saving lives. Load management 😂😂
@@ghanahumber937 nurses and even doctors aren't saving lives all the time. Most injuries are minor. Just like most cops aren't preventing or stopping violent crime. They generally deal with minor offenses and paperwork
@@FencingMessiahdon’t try man these guy get hurt in pick up game at the y and complain about it for days and say these nba player are soft for dealing with worse
You speaking nonsense, the current era of basketball is the softest ever. Even today's boxers are better athletes than these NBA players.
@@st11p4-lunaashlee3 current era of basketball has the most amount of the biggest and healthiest athletes by far and just because it has more rules and less contact compared to the past doesn't mean it's harmless now. Plus they play way more games than in the past which is more taxing to the body. Like in the past football had less safety gear compared to now but I wouldn't say modern pro football was "safe" because the athletes are bigger, stronger, take steroids, and play way more
Charles is to real
OMG KAWHI IS INJURED NOT LOAD MANAGING. STOP BLAMING THE PLAYERS FOR THEIR INJURIES IT ISN’T THEIR FAULT.
Some of these guys be faking it and not playing. If kawhi and other guys cant take of themselves then they shouldnt be in an nba roster spot.
The rules for contracts needs to change
65 games minimum to guarantee a 2 year contract after them 2 years depending on performance you'll either get the 5 year max or just another 2-3 year deal not reaching 65 games will put you in the 1 year contract hole
The nurse is not running up and down the court and the nurse is not at risk for career ending injury it’s different it’s no comparison being an nurse is more important but being an athlete is taking a risk
What "risk" are you talking about
@@alwaysright6358 the risk is injury, it’s more tiresome, you exert a lot of energy, you can fail on your head and then concussion, as a nurse you are more safe
Love him or hate him agree or disagree with him, Charles always speaks his mind
I LOVE chuck and definitely respect him. And he makes GREAT points. But I’ve been working as a personal trainer who specializes in strength and conditioning and there’s SO much new science coming out recently that a lot of these old school guys (respectfully) don’t know about.
Then stop calling Greg Popavich a good coach. He is the one that invented this form of cheating the game!
why? was he asking for it? isnt it kahwi?
@@Rr-j4x He was fortunate enough to get the only superstar in the modern era not plagued by American greed. The only one smart enough to realize if took less money it would keep his team together to foster chemistry over a decade. Kawaii wasn’t going to be his slave. Kawaii did the job in an effective way that served his own interest which is the epitome of Allen Iverson, yet he is celebrated for it. He thought he was doing Phil Jackson a disservice by trading Dennis Rodman to the Bulls. Popavich is a fraud and looks like you’ve fallen for the media narrative to blame Kawaii.
@@jameeluqdah262 stop being salty about 07 and 014 Bron stan
Someone needs to play this all the time for all "professional athletes" to hear.
Love you Chuck!
Charles is right
Barkley gets it man……
This is true facts he is stating
love you chuck
“A stupid basketball game” like if is that easy to make it to the NBA. Anyone can be a teacher, doctor, nurse but not ANYONE can be an nba player
Yes but at the end of the day it’s not like they’re contributing to society in any meaningful way. They’re playing a game that anyone can. Sports are meant to entertain the masses. Nothing more.
We can survive without basketball man. We cant survive if all doctors go extinct.
CB nailed it!
Barkley is for real. Can't really understand why these guys whose only job is to play are given so much break and caring.
Sometimes, Round Mound talks like a a Guru.
