I am truly enjoying all this new music.
I'm fairly young so there is no way I can know this sound, but its wonderful and I'm enjoying this journey.
Thank you to whomever recommended this artist. And thank you Ronnie for playing it.

Nice to see someone react to "These Days". This album (For Everyman) is one of my absolute favorites. Another great song to react to would be "Late for the sky", the first song from his 1974 album with the same name, and "For a dancer" from the same album. "Of missing persons" from 1980 is another great song, written for the daughter of Lowell George (of Little Feat) after her fathers death in -79. But to me everything he did in the 70s was pure gold. And the instrument is called a Lap steel guitar. I will check out some more of your reactions!

Glad you enjoyed These Days by Jackson Browne. I'm a long time fan and saw him perform this song on his "For Everyman" your in 1974 @ Woolsey Hall, New Haven, Ct. I recommend 2 other sings from same album, 'Resdy or Not' and 'Redneck
Friend'. FYI these are rockers w a sense of humor. Jackson writes deep, sensitive songs so these two are a little different. But you will be able to hear the steel(slide) guitar he plays on his lap. The musician David Lindley probably has six stringed instruments w him when he performs.

JB wrote the first version of this song when he was just 16.... An old soul for a teen.
