Hey drew, just wanted to say ive been watching you for nearly 7 full years now, and i have to say thank you for always managing to put a smile on my face, especially during the pandemic, my mother was comatosed from a surgical malfunction for a good year or two(cant fully remember as i was 15/16) but watching your videos always put a smile on my face, you always inspire me and hopefully onedsy when i get my own PC and start to upload i can be like you(maybe even play some games with you one day)

Yeah, as someone from the Baltics, living in a 500k city, it does sound insane, when someone talks about their neighbourhoods in the US. Shit does still happen, but let's just say, if a car alarm goes off in the night, I am 90% sure it is nothing related to a crime being committed.
I like how Drews over here playing GAMMA on the hardest difficulty and not even using a gun and having a decent run-through and I'm here struggling with GAMMA on normal difficulty, a starter gun and the mod that allows guns to eventually be bought from traders...
All about that game knowledge. The Initial struggle of fighting with some of the starting guns definitely isn't easy, but since guns are pretty lethal in Gamma you can use AP rounds even in a Makarov to kill stalkers with headshots. Assuming their headgear isn't really good, otherwise GG.

This video was S+++++++++++++ tier man. The relaxed vibes and breaks in action where you'd pan to your steaming vally or the other injections of reality. The campfire guitar moment was another amazing one. Weirdly reminded me of the long dark and moments I've had in that game.
Hi drewsky, im a huge fan, been a suscriber since the early days. Im also a sound engineer, and im obligated to let you know that those foam "sound pannels" dont really do enough. They arent thick enough. you could try to combine them and get them inside a rectangular 1 x 2 meter wooden frame and then wrap it with a good looking fabric, you will get much better results. Also try to place them mainly behind the mic you are using since thats the first reflectin point. Let me know if i can help any way or if you got more quiestions im glad to help out :D

Lack of Bodies in FPS games usually boils down to the difficulty of animation what the camera sees and what the body is doing. Most of time, it's a separate camera. It's not centered on your head most of the time.

It takes me hours upon hours to find an advanced toolkit, _on medium scavenging difficulty,_ and this guy basically _trips over one just starting out_ on the _hardest_ difficulty. The world ain't fair!
The beauty of Gamma is that you can tweak it to your liking. No need to go easy or hard core, it's only you againt the game. Whatever suits your mood, time you have and level of commitment can be set up. The point is to have fun! Don't forget that. Give it a try!
I scrolled through the mod config settings and tweaked things after a few hours of my initial playthrough, just things that made sense like AI having slightly more items instead of every npc regardless of level having basically nothing and tweaking armor drop condition for higher rank stalkers, tho nothing over 50% so I'd still need to use the armor kits to repair. Like I kept it in the realm of the balance/progression that was intended, but made it feel more immersive by people actually having a little in their pockets
It's funny how I've never really seen bandits on the road to Rostok like this in my current run lol, they can spawn via missions but a permanent Duty posting at the roadblock destroys them. I wonder if it's my settings or what.
@@TheLazyFinn now that you mention it, I never seen that happen to me either. Although I've seen the checkpoint to the road occupied by mercs and everything wiped clean around it. It probably comes down to random spawns and what they pull off.

@@MAXLOLGG nah, stalcraft suffers the same issue all Stalker MMO like tries got: It just doesn't capture the feel and feels more like an average survival game with less risk to it, not even going into the weird grind it got and how annoying it is to get new gear after a while because you just need to farm the same spots 500+ times, hoping that there's no other players grinding as well to even get items (which also brings up the next point of people just camping those farm spots, happily in positions you can't reach normally).

GAMMA is just a huge modpack You can just pick the best mods of it and install them manually or with Mod Organizer, it’s what I did because I was having problems with GAMMA

Your first GAMMA series is what got me into Stalker. To this day, it's one of the best series I've seen anyone do, and I've watched it entirely multiple times.
I started a new play through during this Beryl, with the power and internet out but with a generator to power the house. Started as a Bandit which honestly is probably now my favorite way to play. It makes the south less boring with a lot more fighting and gearing up. Once I went north I debated between freedom and mercs ultimately joining the mercs. Mostly been patrolling south of radar I’m probably close to 12 or so hours and am just now picking up the psy helmet to push north. This game will always be and favorite of mine. I had always wanted to play Tarkov but never liked the PVP. Greatest looter-shooter RPG lite
Beautiful country down there. My dad’s family is from south of Fort Worth, always love visiting my uncle’s ranch, walking around the property and just enjoying the serenity of the quiet outdoors. Nothing like it

I started a new play through during this Beryl, with the power and internet out but with a generator to power the house.
Started as a Bandit which honestly is probably now my favorite way to play.
It makes the south less boring with a lot more fighting and gearing up. Once I went north I debated between freedom and mercs ultimately joining the mercs. Mostly been patrolling south of radar I’m probably close to 12 or so hours and am just now picking up the psy helmet to push north.
This game will always be and favorite of mine. I had always wanted to play Tarkov but never liked the PVP.
