@@Veluca-n1cthis is such a dumb take. I guess you think they should have kept the og aim cone mechanics, or why bother evolving from soc to CS to cop. Why aren't binoculars in the game? Bahaha They couldn't build more engaging mechanics for food and thirst? They are trivial. They couldn't make stashes feel rewarding? Nope bread and bandage. If you compare mechanics to mechanics every single game mechanic is superior in Gamma. Gamma wasn't built for profit and EVERYTHING is built and iterated from player feedback. Literally the best thing in gaming when the game is influenced by the players. It's so hard to get immersed in this narrative tale when being in the zone feels trivialized. The fall of triple a gaming is because of the people who accept and defend companies releasing half baked shit.
@@n3rdworldproblemz877 I never even defended STALKER 2, or somehow signaled that I'm a STALKER purist, re-read my comment and realize that I simply stated that comparing these wildly different games is needless. If anything, compare STALKER 2 to mods like Radiophobia 3 or Last Fallout, or any other mod that's closer to the formula of the original trilogy that has improved upon it and modernized it far better than STALKER 2 has. Not Anomaly, Anomaly Custom, EFP, Gamma, and so on as these are survival sandboxes, unlike what STALKER 2 attempted to do which was a mostly narrative driven experience.

So much better than Stalker 2.
Why even compare?, Anomaly and GAMMA are freeform open world games while Stalker 2 is a narrative FPS like the original trilogy.
@@Veluca-n1cthis is such a dumb take. I guess you think they should have kept the og aim cone mechanics, or why bother evolving from soc to CS to cop.
Why aren't binoculars in the game? Bahaha
They couldn't build more engaging mechanics for food and thirst? They are trivial.
They couldn't make stashes feel rewarding? Nope bread and bandage.
If you compare mechanics to mechanics every single game mechanic is superior in Gamma.
Gamma wasn't built for profit and EVERYTHING is built and iterated from player feedback. Literally the best thing in gaming when the game is influenced by the players.
It's so hard to get immersed in this narrative tale when being in the zone feels trivialized.
The fall of triple a gaming is because of the people who accept and defend companies releasing half baked shit.

I never even defended STALKER 2, or somehow signaled that I'm a STALKER purist, re-read my comment and realize that I simply stated that comparing these wildly different games is needless.
Congratulations on the new house Drewski glad you’re happy. I love you stalker videos and wouldn’t mind having longer less edited videos. The conversation about legs in video games had me wondering does vanilla stalker have legs or just modded?
In Ukraine watching this hits pretty different now.
I don't often comment or like videos, but yours are great entertainment! Keep'em comming please. :)
Love the STALKER content. I can't wait to see your impressions on ITR2 and Stalker 2
always love seeing these stalker gamma vids! also i have to say i really like the fact that youre on of the few shooter related youtubers who's genuinely down to earth!
I love stalker and these longer form videos are great to have in the background as I work. Just listening and occasionally watching when it kicks off. And to get that second hand dopamine rush from scavenging!
Need more STALKER gameplay! Really love the stories and gameplay mix, new home sounds amazing for the mental!
Drewki uploaded a video about Gamma just as another blogger made a video on how to get Invictus achievement - complete the game with one life. What a good time to live.
started a gamma playthrough last week and probably watched all of the stalker vids you posted glad to see more
I was so worried you stopped making gamma content. Was so happy to see this!
I found stalker because of you and now I’m just binge watching all your videos great content I love it man!!
yes finally Drewski Granted my wish... i've been asking for it so many month now finally its here
Beautiful country down there. My dad’s family is from south of Fort Worth, always love visiting my uncle’s ranch, walking around the property and just enjoying the serenity of the quiet outdoors. Nothing like it
Wow. That cut to just enjoying the rain on the window. Never knew i could be so envious of another person.
26:35 What cinematic beauty...I cried. Thank you Drew
That ODST music was poetry. Had to pause and do a double take at the shotgun kill at 1:10:18. Holy hell. Also, that shotgun sounds amazing.
I've been holding out for the second game for all the QoL features but this is making it tempting to get the first pack. Especially since they just released on console.
You changed the title, I was the confused how I started a video I hadn't seen 🤣🤣🤣 idc what the tile is, I see a Drewski video & it's a Stalker Gamma video, I is watching it.
Always love your STALKER content, hope we get more soon!
i really love these long form ramble type videos its nice to just relax and enjoy the gameplay
That was a fun run. I'm behind and catching up on your videos. Your new place looks great!
thank you for making this video long enough to install Gamma in the backround
That edit and music when you were sitting by the fire. A beautiful depiction of that moment in games when you just want to rest a moment irl but still be in the game.
This was a great video. Loved the cinematic parts mixed into the regular gameplay.
25:48 You can't just blindside me with the odst music like that. That song in particular makes me tear up every time I hear it too LMAO
I agree with that suburb feel, with nonstop noise, sketchy folks, sirens and helicopters.. hell, even my car was stolen from my driveway. Moved to a rural area last year where its completely pitch black at night and the only noise now is owls, foxes and coyotes.. i heckin love it. Looking forward to Stalker!
