Re-watching this and I now think I finally get it. So this would have been right around the time of Denise falling out with the girls over threesomes. Kyle clearly decided she wanted Denise to go because she didn't like how the public liked Denise so much the first season and she really didn't like when Denise told her to shut up. So then it filters to Brandi that Denise is on the outer, ding, ding, ding, Brandi now concocts a whole story to get back into housewives. So scripted. I think she was originally going to lie and say they had a threesome and then decided to just make it an affair. But the whole "if you have secrets they are going to come out", that is the line that every single one of the housewives used AFTER the Brandi/Denise hook up came out. It was like a rehearsed speech. The wording is identical. Also according to the timeline this interview was filmed way after the alleged affair and according to Brandi, Denise ghosted her, she felt horrible that Denise had made her a cheater, and yet she speaks so nicely about Denise in this interview. DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. crappy scripted TV at its best.

When you asked what Kim meant by you stole my house - I think they explained it as Kyle and Mauricio bought her out of their Mom’s home in Palm Springs
They apparently gave her $20K and made her sign it over. She later tried to pay it back to buy back in and they refused. I can’t imagine a time when $20k would have ever been a fair amount for a share of a palm springs home.

I don’t think Brandi is a master manipulator.. She is a very nervous person it seems. When she tries to lie, and/or manipulate, its very obvious. I think it was very clearly setup though. Her talking about it in Kyle’s room did not felt organic and authentic. At least to me!
