You gotta love the classics like autocockers, auto mags, and the rare original ICD guns.... Seeing this makes me want to dig out my '93 VM-68 and destroy a coffee can lol, that thing has a scary high velocity because it used to be a Forestry marking gun to mark trees to thin out for the timber companies.
Well he could put a 2 finger swing frame on it , without destroying /permanently altering anything. All you have to change is unscrew 2 screws holding the frame to the body, and the hose layout on the 3-way ( 4 way?) and changing those is really easy. Though to keep it period correct yeah slider trigger as it sits all the way. Hinge frames are really a late 90's early 00's sort of thing , faster sure but it changes the feel of the gun completely. ( that and the fast hinge frames are not cheap . To be fair the really good one finger slider frames aren't cheap either but at least Simon at Inception Designs and others are still making new single finger frames... no one is still making good two finger swing frames. I save the high end 2 finger frames for "Mechanical speed demon" custom Autocockers which have been tuned to the bleeding edge ( I.E.shortest throw 3-ways , high flow valves , lightened hammer kits , fully adjustable trigger frames , shorter rams and a whole lot of time spent tuning them to pinch paint / suction timing them ) and use the single finger triggers for the more authentic period correct builds.
Probably done it before, but you should do a favorite markers vid, like your fav gun to play rec ball, speed ball, to in general play around with, etc!
my daughters your vids, one critique, if I remember correctly the early - mid ninety cocker had a full back block not the chopped block ... I have been looking for a full block for my 95 recreation
i have just brought that exact gun with slightly different regulator and barrel what are they worth it has a cover on the front covering the pipes and a sliencer sleeve also to go over the barrel? im in. the uk
Got to agree with firbirdjimbo. Outside of a few new springs ( if needed) o-rings and a bit of lube and maybe 10 minutes maximum of timing it perfectly there's NOTHING that is stopping you from bringing an old Autococker back to life. The O-rings are common as are the springs ,DOW 33 grease is cheap the stock pneumatics are fairly hard to damage , yet so easy to replace and you can tune an Autococker while say watching a cheesy movie ,watching TV listening to music ect. These oldschool "Worriors" ( could not resist the pun , I know it's dad level pun bad.) beg to be brought out of their retirement closets and gearbags to fight again.
Played with one for years. Just picked up another one.
I still have my 90s era Autococker that’s just like this one.
Wish you would start posting agin
I own a 98 auto cocker, and it looks similar to the 94.
Beautiful classic cocker and love the fact it was tuned so well that you pinched instead of chopped!

I love the lack of milking on older cockers. It’s just a block of aluminum with some holes bored into it.
Que c'est bon que c'est bon un cocker !!!
I didn’t know the flex existed in 1994
The Spectra goggle was first introduced in 1994 in the form of the Proshield.

I bought one of these brand new in 1995, it was my first "real" marker after using rental tippmans.

Do not change anything on that gun.

I have a similar gun, I think it is the same thing just differ colors. How much could I sell it for
I love the right hand molded grips. Other than that I like the old school touch of a era correct JT mask. Keep putting out vids kev.
AUTOCOCKERS! 😂 MECHS4LIFE
YESSSSSS!!! I need to get my mini black magic back up and running!!
You don't own that
That guns running smooth! Can you do one of your normal style reviews on it, they always make me laugh

Nice. old school mechanical love. U ever mess around with automags?
my daughters your vids, one critique, if I remember correctly the early - mid ninety cocker had a full back block not the chopped block ... I have been looking for a full block for my 95 recreation
I'm not saying all the parts are original, but a serial of 16579 dates the body as a '94.
SouthernBelles cut blocks were a common customization on cockers back then, like ball detents (those weren't standard then either).
not being a punk, just saying I like the rig, I remember taking a bandsaw to many blocks in the day.
That was a minicocker backblock on an autococker body.
Idk why but I love to work on old paintball guns
Ug had one of these bad sallies back in the day but some jerk head stole it :(

1:38. lol 😆
What's your main gun or like your most expensive gun
what pneus are on there? also that is a tiny back block for a pre 98.
The back block was custom cut and re-anodized, might be KAPP's handiwork or another custom shop.
Aw hell yeah
review pls
Who did the work on this? would love to get mine back to working order.
