I have been watching these dances for a couple years now.And ALWAYS,they are dine so respectfully and tastefully. Never any questionable contact between dancers like we see so much of here in the USA. Beautiful.!!

This is so exciting. This troop is quite spectacular. I've seen other videos of them and they are so polished I love it. The musical and dance influences from every country from Japan all the way to Spain are also so evident in everything from the costume and to the hand gestures it's so rich with texture that it's just mind-blowing. I'm so glad that I discovered quite by accident not only this Troop but the whole culture which I knew nothing about prior to finding them on RUclips. I could rattle on but I'm at a loss for words at the same time unusual for me. What a treasure!!!!

@@ТимурА-ю6я, согласна, намного интереснее, начиная от внешнего вида и заканчивая хореографией. Жёлтые шаровары, извините, просто безвкусица. Хотя, лично мне, кабардинские танцы нравятся больше, чем наши- западных адыгов.

I love this dance too. Best of all is how much the audience is loving this performers and their dances. They are so interested and happy. Makes you wish you were there.

This dance is a very ancient dance ( Thousands of years before Christianity ) its origins go back to the beginning of the year when the ancient Circassians who were celebrating the beginning of each year the year of the spring equinox or March equinox / vernal equinox
The vernal equinox is an equinox that usually occurs either on March 20, 21, or 22, and on this day the sun is completely aligned on the equator coming from its southern half, which includes Australia, half of Africa, South America and some of the Indian subcontinent, heading to the northern half, which includes Europe, Asia and America North and North Pole
Day and night are exactly equal on the day of the vernal equinox, and this day also announces the beginning of spring in the northern hemisphere and the beginning of autumn in the southern hemisphere. East point precisely. On that day, too, the sun sets at its true west point.

I really would have liked to have seen this, but couldn't because of the way it was edited. Each camera angle was for just a split second - just made me dizzy instead of being able to enjoy the dance.

Salam to all,
We all love this dance 100% . The musicians are very talented and playing very good. BUT the music itself is NOT right !!!!! Any of the old Circassian music in the diaspora has its own dance and there is no need to use the music of one (A) dance to perform another (B)dance or (C) dance as what’s happening here in the dance in this video !!!!!!! The music in the beginning of the dance is used always to dance an old Circassian dance in the diaspora called ( gwasha ghazah) and it’s performed in a different way from this dance , then another music that’s usually used to dance the slow qafah in the Jawgs in the diaspora is used while the dance here is clearly Sheshen or what the ensembles in the Caucasus call it “ Leparise “ which also is having its own rich variable music in the diaspora !!!! The one who chose to use this music for this dance did not do a good job at all unfortunately and he / she mixed up all the musics in a not successful way. FYI the music for the Sheshen dance in the diaspora is very rich and there are gazillion music for that dance and they’re ALL nice and very energetic. I hope this comment reach to the person who chose this music, and I hope Kabardinka or any other ensemble in the Caucasus to have contacts with well known Adigha musicians ( there are very good ones ) in the diaspora to get help to choose the right original music for this dance or for any other dance that is used to be performed only by the Circassians outside the Kavkaz

My favorites, 2, available elsewhere, are the marriage dance where the dancers never touch (an explaination was given which was enlightening) and the "Irish Stones" out of Russia.
Both of those I have played again and again.

Костюмы черкешенок похожи на наряды турецких женщин из Османской эпохи! Культуры, видимо, близкородственные!
Нет, не близкородственны, но по соседски переняты с обоих народов.
Подобные костюмы встречаются во многих регионах (Закавказье, Балканы, Передняя Азия) и это абсолютно естественно.
Турки как и весь Кавказ , а также казаки переняли многое у черкесов в костюме также,
