Thank you so much for the tip on the free walkway! We visited Boulders beach last weekend and decided not to pay the entrance fee (we'd already seen penguins at Stony Point, also for free) and almost turned back to leave but I remembered your video and we found the path and ended up still seeing plenty of penguins!
Thanks so much for the video. We are planning our first family trip with a toddler to Cape Town and we definitely want to see boulders beach and cape point , so all your practical pointers on how to get there are really helpful. All the best on your travels accross Africa
Thanks Elisabeth😊that one was for you. I remember you asked. Our comments got cut off the other day. You said it is Spring in the Netherlands and your busy with the garden...?
@@NickfrNamibia Hi Nick, yes am rather busy and it's fun! Just watched you going up Table Mountain, wow, wonderful experience too! Just wondered how Covid situation is in Cape Town, people standing so close together?
@@africalisa Unfortunately no garden in the place I currently stay. I miss that from Namibia. It is definitely a must do in Cape Town, difficult to plan though with the random weather. The situation is better now in CT, the cable cars are operating at 50% capacity, continuously disinfected, masks are compulsory, temp checks at the bottom and there are several spots along the way where you need to disinfect hands. They are doing everything possible, but there is always a risk. I keep my distance as much as possible and only remove my mask when Im filming and not around others.
@@NickfrNamibia Sounds good! Stay safe and enjoy! Hope you will be able to make many more exiting trips!! Would love to have lunch with you somewhere near that bridge that's turning sideways ;). Thanks again!!
Not sure, seems like I'll be hiding in Cape Town for the year and then take whatever I can get. I'm trying to get to the island states and at least finish them ie Comoros, Mauritius, Madagascar, Sao Tome, Cape Verde, Seychelles etc

Hi, lovely video. What are the lanes like to drive along that scenic route you took to Boulders Beach? They look kinda narrow to me. Just curious.
how big is your vehicle...shouldnt be an issue lots of large military vehicles drive there
Lekker
you in my hood
Used to swim there
Awesom, hope you enjoyed by representation of boulders, you from Simons town? or southern suburbs?
@@NickfrNamibia grew up in Simon's Town, Fish Hoek area now you probably drive passed my house lol.
most likely😀went via Fish Hoek, Kalk Bay, Boyes dr, back to CT
@@NickfrNamibia next time you this side give me a shout then maybe stop over for coffee ☕.
will do! I love a free coffee🙃
Where you off to after SA?

@@NickfrNamibia man I want your life 🤩🤩
@@tinahaulyondjamba it's not all sunshine and rainbows😂 work hard and can be very lonely at times, but yes i am quite fortunate
Where are the pinguins?
Simons town, a town south of Cape Town
Why the price discrimination? Why do foreigners have to pay a lot more to see the penguins?
happens all over southern Africa. So the locals can also afford the attractions in their own countries
@@NickfrNamibia We don't do that to foreigners in Sweden 🤪
