Vinyl doesn't get near enough credit. From the artwork to the colored vinyl. It was all awesome. I still buy records when there is an option. Thanks a ton for posting this vlog. It made me all sorts of happy.
Thank you! I miss them, too!
I like how you reply back to your comments
Thanks! I don't collect many 45's if they have the picture sleeves - it's the art I'm after!
Al Stewart when I was I suppose 14 and stared at that cover art for hours as I played the album over and over.
hell yeah man, have to keep getting up to put more on the spindle!
Nice, that's a coooool cover
Great! I'm going to try to have maybe 6 or 7 videos from this new album.
Thanks Marcus!
Thanks for watching Noah! Glad you liked it!
Weird Paul your awsome
April Wine rules! They're still touring today. I Like to Rock!
Fantastic
Thanks!
Ah those good ol 45 rpm days!
Great stuff- I have over 700 vinyl 45s.
+Robert Nunez Nice!
Being several years younger than you, I never did have vinyl records. But I can definitely appreciate the format, if I find a working record player for a good enough price, I'd definitely get it. I don't think that I would be huge into collecting records, but I'd want to get some of my favorites. That would be so cool. Anyways. Nice video, as always.
Awesome, we used to do that too! We were able to figure out some Misfits lyrics doing it!
You are right about the loss of artwork. I got the LP year of the Cat by A
I have that Van Halen 45. I've been getting into collecting 45 RPM records lately. Some have cool artwork, and others are just packaged in plain paper sleeves, but I got those because I liked the songs. The cool thing about 45's is that some of them have these ultra-rare b-side recordings you can't get anywhere else. For instance, I just picked up a 45 of Def Leppard's "Rocket", and the b-side was the band acting as a backing band for another singer under the moniker Stumpus Maximus. One 45 in particular that's on my bucket list is Kiss's "Detroit Rock City" with the b-side being "Beth". When that single came out, radio DJ's flipped the record over and played the b-side instead. "Beth" was never originally intended to be a single, but it accidentally became one of Kiss's biggest hits anyway. I'd love to get my hands on an original pressing of that 45!
Thanks for watching! I always buy vinyl instead of CDs if I can!
Both of my favourite artists in this video: Billy Joel and Hall and Oates!
Awesome! I just listened to "The Essential Billy Joel" 2 CD set the other day!
I hope so!
Corey Hart also had a poster sleeve and U2 had a gatefold sleeve for Disire
That's cool, hopefully I find those someday
I bet you will! They are online too
So funny ... I thought I was the only one who got a kick outta 7" Single sleeves... I'm in Australia and I have a few of those single sleeves too... obviously they used the same artwork here!!
I just love the artwork on them - it's really beautiful!
1:55 OMG I love The Goonies
What’s Good Enough
For You it’s Good Enough
For Me it’s Good Enough
It’s Good Enough for me
Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah
Paul, I really enjoy your videos! It'd be great if you did a part 2 of this video! I really like this video. And while we're talking about Madonna, have you seen her True Blue single that comes in blue vinyl?
+Triston Ciccone I never had seen it, I just looked it up and WOW! That is cool!
Agreed.
I do download music sometimes but I am more preferred physical media over a digital download any day because of a physical copy of your music or movies or anything at all to take care of your copy I will continue to work for a long long time and also it’s not connected to Internet I prefer physical media
man you rule! :)
Thank you!
i've always been kind of lazy so i rarely bought 45's. too much getting up involved. without looking, i don't wan't to get up, i think everything i have is local bands plus one tom waits, one nick cave and one naked raygun. i do like playing 33's on 45 sometimes though! i listened to the star wars soundtrack like that a lot when i was a kid.
great collection weird Paul how many records do you have?
I have over 300 picture sleeve 7"s. But I have hundreds more 12" vinyl albums. I even made some old videos in the 80's showing my records: My New Records 1988 --(Weird Paul) and New Records #2 1988 --(Weird Paul)

Yes, you will be amazed at everything you will see on this website: www.45picturesleeves.com/
I see what you did there
Yeah I don't understand why other people don't reply to theirs, seems like such an obvious thing to do
Do you have anything by Madonna?
+Triston Ciccone I have 5 Madonna picture sleeves! "Papa Don't Preach", "Gambler", "Crazy For You", "Like a Virgin" and "Material Girl"
hell yeah! If you see Kay, tell her to subscribe to my channel!
Paul, I have an extra copy of Pat Benatar's THE OOH OOH SONG missing in your collection. If you want it let me know.
+Robert Nunez OOH OOH! I need that one!
+ORIGINAL VLOGGER 80'S WEIRD PAUL Let me know if you want it. No charge. Of course I would give you my original - since I got a mint copy here. The original copy isn't in bad condition.
+Robert Nunez I really do want it! I'll message you my address!
+Robert Nunez I can't find a way to message you on here...maybe you can email me at weirdpaulp@gmail.com !!
+ORIGINAL VLOGGER 80'S WEIRD PAUL Cool. I will email you tomorrow. I'm going to take it out of the box where I store duplicates in a while.
Nice collection! Interesting that your haircut is exactly like Dee Dee Ramone's was, yet no Ramones in your "vlog." I'm just sayin'!
Thanks! You figured the haircut out correctly...26 years ago, I showed my mom a picture of Dee Dee and I said, "cut it like this." I don't have any Ramones 45's but I have almost every Ramones album on vinyl. I show many of them in this vlog about my new records from 1988. ruclips.net/video/9vCPD-ChGIg/видео.html
Nice video. Samantha Fox was pretty hot.
