This has been incredibly frustrating to figure out, but apparently only the 8K Neo QLED TVs support more than 2 screens in multi view (supposedly 2 to 5 screens at once). The 4K Neo QLED TVs support only 2 screens at a time max - one input source (i.e. - HDMI) and the other source has to be an app - but there's a gotcha to the apps that can be used in multi view - they MUST support multi view. Currently I only see Samsung Live TV, RUclips and RUclips TV as the only Tizen apps that support multi view. So not many choices there. Would be nice if more apps supported it or just supported multiple views themselves like Fubo. Would be super nice if all the device manufacturers got on board with this like Apple TV or Amazon Fire Stick/Cube to do a multi view of their own. There are always enough sports games going on that I can use the extra screens. I've seen hardware devices to do this like CralTech's Bre4k but they are all too expensive and add more complexity to a home system.
@@estusflask982 I don't care about your argument. The model with Multiview 2.0 can, the previous versions can't. It's explained on the Samsung site. It's a limitation, nobody cares if it's artificial or not, with that TV, you can't.
They mentioned that on the future ones 4 ps5 or 4 Xbox playing at the same time 4 screens 4 player splits splitscreen not sure bout today but it's coming
That's the thing I want to be able to do. Considering an 8k screen is just four 4k screens put together, imagine playing on a PS5, whilst your brother wants to play on the Series X which is also connected, just ring it up on the multiview tab, and play different consoles, on the same screen.

There is no most necessary mode for connecting two computers, or one computer and one laptop: splitting the screen into two parts so that the entire left half of the screen (without a black background) shows the desktop of the first computer and the entire right part of the screen shows the second ( (as is done in monitors 21:9 emulating two separate monitors). ?
This is cool and all but why is it locked behind terms and conditions and internet connection? My TV is offline, I want to have PS5 and PC split screen but can't use a built in feature? Like since when PIP requires internet connection to work?

terrace TV claims to have multi-view but it is an older version of the multi-view software, even though I just bought the terrace this year. the 'multi-view' on the terrace is inferior in a lot of ways: 1. can only do two screens max. 2. one of those two screens only allows a camera or screen mirroring (can't do any other apps or inputs) and 3. the other screen can't do any apps, only samsung's tv service. My TV is up to date and spent an hour with customer service. One of the main reasons I bought it was to watch two sports at the same time, but that isn't really possible at all. Was advertised with a multi-view function on their website and so i'll probably ask for a partial refund.
My older Samsung ultra wide monitor can display two different hdmi inputs. Not sure why they are not letting us do that with this!! It’s a very cool feature I hope they update this.

Of course it does. The screen splitting has nothing to do with the source. If you have access to the source, then you should be able to split it among other screens.

Their Jan 3rd 2022 TV announcement makes reference to four simultaneous HDMI ports, but refers specifically to their Micro LED TVs… not clear whether this will trickle down to their other TVs… I hope it makes into more of their 2022 lineup.
I had a 2008 Samsung HDTV n just upgraded to a 2021 q80. I wanna do 2 hdmi sources (ps4 n cable box). Multi view options limited to apps...... 1 hdmi source + 1 app. My older TV was able to do the antenna (cable) and hdmi in a split screen. None of these new tvs seem to have a spit screen w 2 hdmi going at the same time.

Apparently only the latest, most expensive 8K models support 2 HDMI’s. I just bought a 75” QLED and can’t multiview anything besides a phone screen, even at that it has to be a Samsung phone or else it won’t multiview
@@kristech2010 well, for the moment there's not much you can do with an 8k tv correct me if I am wrong. This adds a nice a feature. The higher the resolution the least picture quality it will lose when in pip. I think.
It's strange that this feature does not allow broadcast OTA on multi screen. My QN90A only allows two sources. I get a refusal message when I attempt to add a third source. So it seems the feature as shown in this video only applies to the more expensive OLED or 8K models.
This feature is useless of you want to watch from multiple HDMI channels or multiple USB channels. Multi View needs to work with Multi Sources. Maybe try again @Samsung.

TOTAL SCAM. Shows multiple screens (3-4) in this ad, shows how you can move them around and connect ear buds to them.... but in reality only lets you do 2 screens at most in only a side by side or PIP orientation. I did the same thing with the 85inch and it’s still a sore subject. I did however buy a third party multi viewer from Amazon which does the 4 hdmi split.

you cant. just youtube or nothing. the only configurations are "youtube + cable or hdmi" or "hdmi + cable". not a single other app supports it after a year and noone knows why.
@@runningcorrer ok. I am very sceptical too any blietooth audio... always experienced lags. The irony is that some techs actually delay the video output, to try to delay the video as much as expected bluetooth suffers from audiolag.
This feature does not work with DAZN, crave, Netflix, or more than one HDMI input. Basically only works with RUclips

No, it depends on the version of MultiView. The 8K you mentioned supports MultiView 2.0. The other doesn't.

No. It’s only on newer TVs, and only the 8k ones can do multiview with 4 screens. The rest can only do 2 screens.
