Found my box that Prime came in and it still has the price tag on it. 28.99 from Toys R Us. I could never find Ultra Magnus in my area and it was a decent sized area too. This was back before internet shopping was huge.
Dude when leader class figures were cheap.
It really is crazy that back then you could spend 30 bucks on a Transformer that had several gimmicks and could stand up to play. Now days you spend 30 bucks and you can’t even touch the thing without it falling to pieces.

iv had these two for 20+ years now. the battery still works on ultra magnus, and i never knew until today that you can combine them.

Same since I still have the original RID 2001 Optimus Prime toy ever since my grandparents ordered me it on eBay back in 2014.
Also, this might sound crazy and hilarious but RID Optimus' base form when his alt mode has two wheels without his half side of the fire truck kinda gave me the idea to make my Transformers character who's a two wheeled car XD lol.
Well Optimus did drive himself towards Megatron and rammed into him in that 2-wheeled car mode before transforming. I saw that in a video with all of the transformations from the American version of the show.@@kinnikuman-devilman_fan_2002

I just found these bad boys I have Optimus set complete but I’m digging through my toy boxes to find the rest of magnus I’ve been selling most of my old 2000’s transformers and digimon but I might have to keep these two they are so damn cool! Does anyone know which screws to take out to replace the batteries?
