Mandem putting “pressure” as a reason for st I can’t believe. Question is hardest position at football and at all levels it’s midfield , working in 2,3 second frames where people are coming from all angles , having to run the pitch up and down, create on tired legs, defend on attacks. There’s a reason meady strikers can still do well cos they’ll have a good shot on them. If you can’t work in tight spaces with quick reactions you will not make it anywhere, they’ll move you LB
If not ST, GK is deffo hardest position, hand eye coordination doesnt come natural to most ppl, one mistake likely concedes a goal not only that your who theyre relying on to keep the team in the game. ppl dont realise how fast some of these forwards strike trhe ball, defenders cant usuall react and the GK gotta stop that
Hardest position is striker, you can have a 90 minute game where you touch the ball twice and you‘re expected to score. DM is more important but CF is the hardest. I‘ve played in both (Not at the highest level but at a good level)
22:04 These are genuinely some great rules. Announcing your reasoning live on TV like the NBA does can at least give people something to take from that instead of asssumptions. Also the penalty taker one is a MUST. I'm trying to see anticipation not the same dude who's 10/10 from the line.
I agree with Sharky on the hardest position on the pitch take, I personally think playing as a striker is the easiest position to play, goals can get you out of horrible performances and you're less susceptible to making mistakes that lead to your team conceding, and bar a few systems its one of the positions where you have to do the least running. I think there isn't an easy answer to the question because for someone who's an athlete that loves running, playing as a box to box midfielder might be easier for them than a technical winger, and vice versa for someone who's naturally a technical player and is less physical/athletic.
I’d say full back is most physical, running up and down the flanks. In general, the most difficult position I think depends on what system the coach uses and the player’s role in it.
Striker. scoring a goal is so much harder than it’s made out to be. It’s the one position where you just need to be at one good one thing (scoring) to make it to pro level, yet not many people are good at it.
@@youknowwhoiam7544 yeah but theres a reason why we talk about the top goalkeepers in the world in such a high regard. there's not many who are world class that can handle that pressure.
a rule thay should be added is fixing offside. for example when garnacho’s goal against brighton was disallowed because zirkzee was offside just before it crossed the goal line. since the ball was already going in regardless of zirkzee’s presence, the goal should stand. now if the ball was not going in and its off target but it hit zirkzee in an offside position, disallow the goal
box to box midfilders is the hardest position no debate you’re literally everywhere defending pressing attacking and you have to do it for 90+ minutes without a break stamina is insane you need to be physically dominant win every duel and at the same time be technically perfect passing shooting and controlling the game lose the ball once and your team is exposed to a counterattack it's the most demanding position on the pitch no one else has that level of responsibility consistently and second hardest is center backs for me
Toughest position in football now is wingback. You have to be good on both ends, you are isolated vs the very best and skilled players in the world and have to defend them for 90 minutes usually without any support.
Arteta is literally Southgate.. same success for the team they managed. One of the best teams and thereabout always. You can nitpick differences but literally same if you deep it. More same than different.
Striker has more impact on the game due to scoring chances or not. But if the question is what is harder it is definitely DM. So much more running, like sharky said dictating play, setting the tempo. Also just having to constantly scan, having to break the first press most times by taking the ball off the CB’s.
Not to add, but I reckon the offside rule to be changed; Atleast most part of the body should be in an offside position for a goal to be ruled out. A goal being ruled out cuz of the tip of the toes is ridiculous
the Bruno disrespect is mad. people hate him for whining but never once speak about his quality lol. it is 1 million percent Bruno and tbh there isn't really a close second. love Dalot but he was shambolic until 2 seasons ago- there was a point United fans thought he'd never play for us again. he's also been pretty bad this season and his only bonafide consistent good season was last year. even going by numbers alone you have to say Bruno, his impact output-wise and creativity-wise is literally up there (again, not comparing their quality but statistically) with KDB every single year
I don’t know if it’s cause I’ve worked in RUclips before but the colour grading from both cameras for this and the last video are a little off (for the right camera angle)

there’s way more teams that have been more successful with a meady cf rather than a meady 6. teams have won the champions league without even having a top 10 striker in their own league bro. how many times can you save that for dm or center mid? respectfully i dont think its close between how difficult it is to play midfielder vs striker, way more responsibility, way more vital to success
1. CM ST DM 2. Messi Yamal 3. Have a stop clock to eliminate time wasting 4. absolutely get sacked 5. A united fan could ref a united game with no bias if he was a serious ref and a guy from Sri Lanka could be the biggest Liverpool fan ever. Can’t control stuff like that. It’s just training and integrity and punishment for incompetence
What I add as a rule is "penality choice".It is difficult to score a penality on insane goalkeepers like Buffon and Martinez. So,as a choice, the pen taker has a choice to hit the ball from his own half penality taking area.but no one from the other team are allowed to defend the ball.if he scores,goal...if he misses,no goal.
When your team has shit players, the coach puts them at striker because it’s the easiest position to play and doesn’t affect overall play. Midfielders and GK have the hardest jobs.

Hardest Position? For me, the full-back position is very underrated. You have to be very good offensively, hit crosses, help build up the game and have a good understanding of the game. You also have to be very good defensively. Intercepting balls, surviving 1v1, tackles and being physically robust. Speed is also incredibly important and a solid heading game would also be helpful. There are reasons why it feels like there are hardly any good left-backs at the moment and in general the amount of world-class full-backs is sooo small
That's a horrible argument for picking CF over midfielders, i mean this shouldn't be a debate honestly, CM/CDM by far the hardest position to play in football across all eras of the sport.
