Cute little block. Thanks for the dancing; I needed that today. I am not fussy about rotary cutters, but it looks like I'd better upgrade for my next birthday............ I like the raw you.
Awesome confusing block, you had me confused 😐. I enjoyed the dancing. I have several rotary cutters including the martelli, I use the Kai mostly but also olfa and gingher just to name a few of them.
HI Beverly! I never did try the Kai rotary cutter...I like their scissors but never considered their rotary cutter. I will have to try them the next time I see them at a quilt show. Thanks for sharing!
Great confusing block....I like the Pink Power rotary cutter..and I have the regular Olga cutter that the handle curves . Haven't tried any other so I guess these would be my favorites. As someone once said if it works for you why change. LOL
Hi Polly! I thought I was the only one that took the track off...but apparently not. I still have my Fiskars but use it more for crafting and not for fabrics. Its interesting how we start our journey with one thing and where we end up. Thanks for sharing!
Great block and thank you for showing your mistake it helps 🤪 Olga cutter don’t like the martelli sorry For thread I use mostly Sulky cotton since I was the distributor for Sweden for Sulky ♥️greetings from Sweden 🇸🇪
Hi Claudia! I like my pink Olfa for quick trim and smaller things. Its handy to leave next to my sewing machine. But my wrist starts to hurt when I have a lot of cutting to do, and that's where the Martelli cutter has it beat. But there is absolutely nothing wrong with the Olfa cutters; they are great! Thanks for sharing!
Hey Eric!!! Ummmmm…I didn’t get the confusion until I did exactly what you did and didn’t have enough of this fabric to unconfuse to the confusion. Oh well, it’s staying confused, lol!!! Who knows, I might remake with different fabrics, but not tonight. I like the Martelli for my wrist but I like the Olga’s too. Keep the dancing coming.
GGUUURRRRlll!!! Well I can't say anything because I did make the mistake myself LOL. Still makes for a great block though....so don't throw it out! Use it!
I have had a fiskars, and it was fine...but for some reason I ended up with Olfas, and they became my favorite. But I always had trouble trimming a block when sitting down. I was watching Tiffany one day a month or two ago and she was going to trim something while sitting and she said, wait a minute, I want my Martelli ...and something along the lines of she cuts better with it when sitting...so I thought I would try one. I really do like it. I think it looks so weird but when it is in my hand it feels natural. I still like my Olfas...I like the splash or yellow straight handles. I have always used my 60 mm most of all, but the Martelli may change that. Not sure. If the timing is right, I would love watching you live...if the timing was right
Hi Rose! Give Martelli cutter a try if you do get the chance. It does make a difference when sitting and cutting. I just use the Olfa instead because I can easily store that cutter in my sewing machine drawer. But I am looking to get a 45mm Martelli cutter. Thanks for sharing!
Great confusing video Eric 😄 I like my olfa 60mm cutter for my left hand and I prefer my Martelli 45mm for my right hand 😊 But have no issues using any rotary cutter I have lol
Hello! I hope you have a great day. I finally finished up what I had to sew for today and get to sit with my feet up and hand quilt! I hope you have a wonderful week ahead! Thank you f or sharing your video!
@@TreasureHeartCreations for me. I really have to watch when using it I drift away from my ruler and also I find some rules are almost to thick for it or I'm using it wrong lol
Eric…you are so busted for still cutting how you told us not to do last week. 😄. I just got a 50” smart tv so I can figure out things much better. Thank you for the mistake before I made it and another great block.

Thats right Rosetta! If it works for you then great! No sense spending more on items you may or may not like. Thanks for sharing!
My Truecut without the track is my favorite mostly because I got it for free. I also use a Westcott 28mm and Fiskars 45mm.

Thank you for sharing Gisela!
I have been using my olfa 45mm since 1982. and the 60mm (olfa) since 1990. I love both of them.

@@TreasureHeartCreations ahhh sometimes my opinion is carefree 😆 I have strong opinions of other stuff though 😄 🤣 😂

Hi Nancy! Its funny that I know of a lot of people that have the Truecut but don't really use it. I wonder what it is? Thanks for sharing.

It's a scrappy centre block.
So it is! Thanks Alison.
I use Olfa. However, I just received a Comfort Cutter but haven’t opened it yet.
Hi Elizabeth! Comfort Cutter....I was curious about that one. Let us know how you like it when you do start using it. Thanks for sharing!
