I agree with PancakeRecipes, Caliendo does John Madden. That's all I respect of his, everything else he does is watered down IMO. Jay Mohr may not do as much impressions, but his top ones are all spot on. He's probably got the best Tracy Morgan I've heard also. Plus he's a funny comedian in general, that's not really even known mainly for impressions, which is what makes him cooler.
Caliendo, Gass, Pollack are all like parrots. It's not an insult (they are fantastic imitators), but jay's ability to improvise sets him apart even if his ability to replicate the actual voice is a notch below those guys for most of his impressions. Jay's one of the the most talented entertainers I've ever seen even if he is a tremendously insecure joke thief.
No one's saying he didn't say it at all. That's not the argument, what the guy was reffering to is the last scene. You're talking about everything aside from the last scene.
Mohr has some amazing impressions. His Barkley isn't that good...I can do a better Barkley. Mohr's Colin Quinn impression however, is the best impression of anyone I've ever heard.
I've heard him do a better Lawrence Tierney, his voice sounded tired that day. Larry was my neighbor in the early 90's in Venice Beach, CA. He was a loveable old guy who was always friendly... but he was bat shit crazy.
@@evansgate He scared me, but he was always a sweetheart. My uncle, who was a Parisian, got to be good friends with him. Most people don't know Larry spoke French fluently.
Anybody who's listened to the 5-part Michael Madsen interview elsewhere on RUclips -- I defy you to disagree with me: Madsen could totally do the Lawrence Tierney voice. Mohr and Madsen could do *all* of "Reservoir Dogs" between the two of them. (Okay, except for Stephen Wright.)
It was cool when Jay said "this happened to a friend of mine" but then it morphed into "this happened to me." Even Jay admits he was wrong [after his wife told him]. By the way, he is absolutely hilarious when he tells it, legendary rendition!
jay can improvise on the spot, which is why i love his impressions.
2:22 -- Mohr as Keitel. The way Mohr mushes up all the letters in "ground". It's genius. LOFL. Thanks for posting this!
"Look around Ray, everyone's pools are above ground." LMAO
Funniest thing was that Sylvester Stallone had that line to DeNiro. It wasn't even a Keitel line!
Jay's Moooohrrs Keitel is perfection
TimenatorX
"Look around ray, everyone's pool is above ground"
That is an ultimate Walken! Hats off
Holy shit!! Chris Penn?? .. Harvey Keitel?? Colin Quinn?? Jay is unbelievable.. so great.. so effortless too..
I love how he just does them, doesnt need jokes he can just quote movies and it sounds great
his reservoir dogs was DEAD ON!
Oh my god, that Chris Penn is awesome!

at 1:37 when he talks about the warriors having a scrub team he sounds EXACTLY like the comedian Mitch Hedberg.

My favorite Jay Mohr impression is Larry Merchant and I can’t find it anywhere
It’s on this full episode, the only Jay and Patrice episode
"Whacky Tabaccy!"
I love when Anthony chimes in with Buscemi at 4:14
jay is like "WTF is this! stop nitpicking! warsh my balls, dammit!"
ya he did , he said daddy the whole fuckin movie and at that point he says dad, chris penn got me again.
Never heard Jay do George Jessel or Lon Chaney, not to mention Lou Jacoby or Peter Lorre.
@billycarr Was Ant...he rules at impressions in his own right.
Grat stuff! love it. haha
"hiya boys, looking good!"
i think his walken was better in this but the rest were better in the other video
Caliendo's Barkley can't be beat.
I've been to the Saskwahamahama Casino in Seattle somewhere hahaha
i want him to do bad lieutenant

Anthony is pretty good too
I've heard him do a better Lawrence Tierney, his voice sounded tired that day. Larry was my neighbor in the early 90's in Venice Beach, CA. He was a loveable old guy who was always friendly... but he was bat shit crazy.
@SgtBaker16 Oh yes, the cast was afraid of him. There's video of them telling stories about how afraid of him they were.
Do you have any stories of him scaring people?
@@evansgate He scared me, but he was always a sweetheart. My uncle, who was a Parisian, got to be good friends with him. Most people don't know Larry spoke French fluently.
Does anyone have the clip of Jay Mohr telling the story when he was driving with Keitel and he flipped out and went "Don't you ever ring my bell!!!!"
does anyone have the clip of jay mohr telling that story about harvey keitel where he's like "don't you EVER RING MY BELL!!!!"?
I'd rather listen to a fucking mime than hear one more word from Patrice.
Mohr's Barkley is awful.
Yeah it's pretty bad

I disagree with you.
jump to the reservoir dogs impressions 2:55
@dontleademsomuch lol he says daddy watcher again.
Jay Mohr's Barkley doesn't even sound like an impression to me. It just sounds like Jay.
yeah sounds like christopher walken
@dontleademsomuch he most certainly did say daddy
@sprimusp1
ahh...
moore, well done
yeah noone wearing silk shirts
if that is the case, i'll take funny over impressionist any day of the week.
But his Walken has always been strong. But that's about it.
Yes, Jay Mohr impersonates while still being himself. I think my uncle can do this for a living as well.
It seems Patrice is having a real hard time explaining he agrees that you have to make up things to say as the person and not just imitate the voice.
2:19
I love J Mohr...but his impression of Barkley was not happening...Caliendos Barkley is great..
but who's trying?!
P is riding his jock too much. I don't give a shit, just pay me.
jay mohr the only thing he has in his arsenal is walken, he cant do barkley not as well as caliendo does.
Mohr is funny... but he is not an impressionist (for the most part). Caliendo IS!!!!
nah just finished watching it.. was just dad. /watch?v=ePqgOzEKG3o
patrice's impression was horrendous. god bless em but wow was that fuckin bad.
👀
His Barkley sucks. It sounds like Jay Mohr trying to do Barkley and failing.
and reservoir dogs is a bad movie
jay mohrs tierny impression sucks
I hate Patrice O'neal.
jay does good impressions but also steals jokes and charges people to watch him do bert kreisher's material.
My God this needs to go away. BERT GAVE HIM PERMISSION TO USE THE STORY.
It was cool when Jay said "this happened to a friend of mine" but then it morphed into "this happened to me." Even Jay admits he was wrong [after his wife told him]. By the way, he is absolutely hilarious when he tells it, legendary rendition!
anyone who thinks Mohr is better than Caliendo needs new ears
Caliendo sounds better but hes not that funny at all with his lines. That being said.... Jay Mohr...meh.
