Good demo and interesting re the rear seat head room as your 6 foot. This may have persuaded me to ditch the ultra and sunroof due to the rear seat headroom.
Great video and informative. We've just been and test-driven one today and even ordered one to replace our 3-year-old Vitara as they were offering 0% finance, £1,000 off being an existing Suzuki customer and a good price for our old one due to a demand for second hands at the moment.
Congratulations on ordering a new car 👏, sounds like you have got a good deal and especially with the demand for used cars as well. It’s a really good car and looks so much better than the previous models
Yes I have just ordered one also. Trading in my 4 year old scross sz5 all grip auto but gone for the lower spec this time. Leather did my head in cold in winter red hot in summer. Never used panoramic roof so saved a few pounds this time. Used the 4x4 options probably 5 times so not really required. I bet as soon as I pick my new one up we have loads of snow lol.
Congratulations on getting a new car, you are right about the extras as they really are not that important although I like the sunroof. Not have allgrip means slightly better mpg
I saw your review for Vitara, and I enjoyed it a lot because it was comprehensive. After that, I started searching for your review for S-Cross. I'm planning to get one of them, but I'm not sure yet which one! If you're the one who's going to buy, which one will you choose and why?
Just took delivery of an automatic hybrid. Absolute disaster! It’s like it drives constantly with brakes on and the fuel cost is double from what my previous manual diesel 1.5 was! 🤬 I’ll be looking to see if I can hand it back asap!
Had the scross ultra model for a few weeks now and the engine runs all the time and suzuki claimed that the ultra had wireless android auto and apple carplay but having trouble connecting them now suzuki are telling me they are not wireless not happy at all
I don’t remember any of the Suzuki cars at the minute having wireless Apple car play it’s a good old fashion cable. The infotainment system is functional and possibly could do with an update; although that pushes the price up😳
Hi damo Great video as always just when u put on the adaptive cruise control. When u want to bring ur speed up to the speed limit if u hold the button down it will increase in 5 mile an hour intervals till u reach the speed u require Saves u keep pressing the bottom Also how does the s cross compare to the vitara
That’s David glad you enjoyed it and thank you for the tip on the cruise control. In my opinion the s-cross is a better all round car ; especially with the new look. Main thing is the vitara is cheaper. Worthing Suzuki should have the new vitara in the next few weeks which is a hybrid model which will give me a better idea comparing the 2.
I buyed the vitara because: 1 she' s more beautiful 2 with the same motor , the vitara is more fast and she' s more economic in the consumes of ⛽ benzine
Great review nice car. However my 17 yr old car worth £1500 does 40 mpg, compare that to buying this for £24k they dont need to worry about fuel to that extent. The economy is false economy against the depreciation on these vehicles. They are for wealthy or company persons
useful vid as my suzuki dealership want to speak to me about upgrading from 2020 vitara to s cross. how does the boot and rear space compare to vitara? im tempted if it cost less or same monthly and expect this to be more economical compared to petrol vitara
@@francmedic7917 Wow nice then u didnt have to wait so long .Here in Romania things moving slower like 8-10 month waiting list.I guess u are happy with the S Cross
@@dawson1ize The Jimny will stand out a bit more and looks fun but this new car probably has more tech (can come in allgrip if you need it) looks smart and would be new. Depends I suppose on how much you love the little Jimny 🤔
Sounds like an easy decision, get the new car, money and run away (well drive away) it’s certainly bigger , more practice and actually looks pretty good.
lumbar support for driver and front passenger - when? - in 2035? frong fog lights - LED? or halogen? - when can we expect LED? - in 2031? no automatic dimming rear mirror - really?????? - when? - in 2032 or never? cabin and boot lighting - LED? - no - why? I am writing about basic, really basic features.
This was the basic spec so I am not sure if the Ultra has different seats but everything else you said applies. A lot of the interior is the same as the previous model and use the same parts across various other models as well. Other than those couple of areas you mentioned what do you think of the car ?
@@justynah8347 I will answer your questions: there is even a blackout mirror on my 2016, but it is SZ5. Lumbar support: yes, no, but I don't feel tired even after 600 miles, possibly because I use cruise control. Halogen in fog lights is correct, it is in order to cut through the fog, and not blind the oncoming stream. You can put the LED lamps in the cabin yourself, since not everyone needs light in the cabin and pluck out their eyes. Thank you .
Best video I have seen on this motor, thank you
Really pleased you enjoyed it 😊
A useful review. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it
Love Suzuki. Very pleased with my Vitara. Great review.
Really glad you enjoyed it , they are good cars and waiting to review the new vitari

The cars are “slowly” getting better but I think the dealers need new logos and an image update still look like there in the 90’s!
Very difficult to change the brand as everyone
Knows it and has taken years and hundreds of millions but I understand where you are coming from.

As im driving the i20N id say engaging and a firm ride ,you certainly get both with that.
Drove the i20N around the Millbrook proving ground and loved it and certainly engaging.

Waiting for it to launch in India for me to book it.. I have the older sibling Sx4 1.6
Lets hope it is released in India soon :)

Does this come with a digital speedo in the centre?
Afraid not
It does, I’ve test driven it since.
is it noisy on highway?

Do it come with a spare wheel Suzuki s cross please 👍
