TC's dancers are clearly talented, and pretty too... but all their counts look like rehashes of other squad counts. Someone praised them for that earlier in the comments, but it feels tacky and doesn't really make for cohesive choreography. All the best squads have distinct, fluid styles... they should really develop their own, they'd be something to watch out for.
Both bands are great! It makes me mad that Talladega can really get in with Southern but don't have the arrangements for it! I give Su the win but Tc had that dark power sound props to both
+Malcolm Tippit That sections is not pure ass. As far as lows are concerned the arrangements are not written out this way. When they are their transitions from lows to highs are noted. The section does what is needed for this band and their great arrangements. Can the section improve? Yes as they will this season. It was a lot of crabs this past season and lost a lot from the 14 season.

TC was loud and lack punctuation. The song s they played were not distinct. On the other hand, while Southern had half of their band, their arrangements were crisp, clear, and distinctive. Just because you are loud doesn't make your arrangements and sound good music. Any6 trained musician knows that Southern basically destroyed TC (from a Delaware State Alumni)...
TC sounds like everyone is playing in the same key and it's loud and squeaky. SU sounds clearer and more blended to me. But both are good. SU sounds better.
