The same thing happened to me 40 years when I sat with devotees and chanted for the first time.. I cried my eyes out like a child. it was an epiphany, a homecoming, the finding of something I was searching & yearning for, for too many lives of intense existential angst... From then until today, the chanting has been an inextricable part of my life. in a word, it's a soothing balm and also a food [par excellence] for the soul, nourishment for the journey of the spirit to travel home to God's timeless dimension of pure knowledge and unconditional love..

I always come back to this kirtan. I have not found any better after a couple years of searching and hearing many different performances, bhajans, and mantras, both live and studio recorded. This is the best.. It is deep and soul-touching. Devotional and yet ecstatic. Neither too playful nor too saddening. It is purity alone in the midst of Krishna himself! Hari Om

@Srinath Stop your nonsense. Vaidika dharma is an alternative name of Hindu Dharma. Shruti and Smruti are primary scriptures of Hindu Dharma. Vishnu takes Avatara in Hindus family only. Because Hindus are sacred by birth in Brahmana, kshatriya & vaishya varna. Hindu birth is for moksha. Hindus are vaidik people who's culture and dharma is based on Veda and Purana.

Who has these qualoties now a days ? Everyone around you see are mostly hypocrites, so where is your hindu dharma going ? Please read the first link I have given you. Just by some identity one is not eligble for liberation , yeah you might have done some pious work in previous life to get a birth in pious family but that doesn't make you liberated, your sincerity to serve Krishna decides you are capable for liberation. And a devotee never wants a liberation, he only wants Krishna (Damodarastakam )
