Been a few years since I last saw The Wurzels in concert; it was at the club, opposite the train station in Chester. Before that, two other times, both at farms in Shropshire: in Baschurch and Little Ness. So grateful for the time I grew up in, that I got the chance to listen, and in some cases, see... so many greats! I am a Cider Drinker and proud of it... Oooh Agghhh 😁😁
I would point people towards The Wurzels album Never Mind The Bullocks. It contains such brilliant covers of Rock DJ - Robbie Williams Ooh Aah Just a little bit - Gina G And other rocking tunes.
@A16AdamWalker I suppose its a bit like Cornwall, it's all ales and Cornish mead down there not much cider. Tribute is a nice ale, there's also Korev which is actually beer in the Cornish language, cross the Tamar eastwards and you're in oo-ar country, lol
20 years since this aired and the Tractor Beam joke still kills me
Cracks me up every time 😂
The wurzels just brill
Saw the Wurzels last year. It was great to see them.
They would be great at an Oktoberfest. 👍👍🍻🍻

Have to say it... I bloody love the Wurzels!
The Wurzels doing Firestarter would be awesome!
I can remember when they turned on the Christmas lights in Bristol city centre back in 1979!
I love the interplay between Bill and Mark
Mark is a very very witty man that bill lad is as amusing as a dose of piles.
Pill Pill I love love thee still
Oh god, Bill standing as if its his national anthem. lol
As far as the west country is concerned it essentially is.
It’s the Cornish Independence March
Nope our national anthem down here is "drink up thy cider!" 😂
I watch this every 5 years
seen the wurzels live 6 times!!!!
Love this. Tommy Banner bought that accordion from my step-dad many moons ago. Was great hearing them playing together in our house :)
I could watch that all day, loved it.
The Somerset national anthem
These guys are awesome. Never Enough Notes had a recording of the singer reading a story about cider in their podcast. Was lollage.
Know what the string tied rounth the trousers, just under the knee, is for? I do - it is to stop the adders running up the leg - ooh ahh, ooh ahh!
Bill was in fact right (or, in Zummerzet language, "roit")
'E's a foir storter, twisted foir storter'
(continues in Zummerzet)
Have only got this part of the show! Sorry I can't help.
This is one of my favourite videos on here. Fan-tastic.
Proud to be from bristol met the wurzles a few years back now.
The Wurzels, or as in english "THE ROOTS" ! No joke √
This makes me want to shed all dignity and become whatever these farmers are... Apart from cider drinkers or something..
"Why do we need the dog?"
