Neil always looks so proud whenever he's watching Tom Sturridge explaining Dream in these interviews. As someone who aspires to be a writer, I can only imagine how surreal it would be, sitting where he's sitting and looking on as someone who brought one of my characters to life perfectly breaks them down for new audiences.

Neil has said that the Endless are both sides of the coin.
What is Dream also defines Reality.
Death is as much about Death as she is about Life.
And so a huge part of The Sandman story is Morpheus's ultra conservative devotion to responsibility and duties, rituals, rules and regulations and traditions as also the representative of cold hard Reality.
