I love that intro. You're ALMOST hitting the notes, and ALMOST harmonizing, but not quite. Masterful.
ahh wisers, the more you drink the wiser you get
we must be soooooo Wise now!
Both of the finalists are excellent drams for sure. I enjoy Alberta Premium as a secondary dram to a lot of bourbons because of the robust mouth feel and flavor, and J.P. Wisers as a great secondary dram to a lot of lighter scotches like Glenlivet, etc. Excellent video gentlemen, Skål.
That’s a great way to do it!
I’ll be getting a bottle of Alberta Premium and Old Forester 86 from BC soon.. looking forward to taste these!
I would love to see a Canadian Club 100% Rye VS Alberta Premium 100% Rye comparison video from you guys!
You guys are among the most entertaining channels on RUclips, keep it going gents! And cheers!
Hey thanks Richie we appreciate the compliment!
Of all the cheap Canadian whiskies Alberta Premium is the one that I have purchased the most... No matter what other Canadian whiskies I try I always come back to this one... There is always some on my bar.
Yah it’s a must have!
awesome vid. cheers.
Another great video, thanks boys. Forty creek copper pot is my dirt cheap Canadian
Copper Pot is soooo good!
love how you had small bottles as if to say "lets not have too much left over after this video".
Ah hahaha......these little bottles were $7 each and the big ones are $20, so it was budget related.
the Crown vs Wiser's match up deserved to be on the final round
Alberta Premium eh? I don't recall seeing that here in the US, then again I don't spend a lot of time looking at budget Canadian.

CC is the best...hands down.
I'm glad you guys were doing science so well! Glad the fly lived.
We’re basically whisky scientists, we need to get some lab coats though 🤔
You are the best! To bad CC 100% rye couldn’t have been in the tastings
Hey thanks Stewart, that’s kind of you! Yes CC 100% is awesome stuff.
ab 4 da win just as i figured, nice
What’s the price point on cc vs Alberta? And CC is the same price as Crown?..
hey guys long time no see, i had wisers a couple of times and did not like it if i recall may have been tad too jet fuel with lack of flavor for me, crown i think i only tried a sample bottle that may have possibly went bad but again tasted like jet fuel, ab was the best , cc cant recall but did try the 12 yr old small batch found it too leathery dry ,,but my all time new fav go to discovered hidden gem on the left side of the bottom shelf is hiram walker's special old rye , fantastically balanced great aromas and flavors for the smoothest whisky i ever had with not the slightest bitter or harshness better than dewars or j&b rare which have been my go to's for smooth ones so whoulda thunk it that a canadian would win my heart over a scotch, btw have you ever done a review on it??? please link me the direct vid if you have if not then its def something for you guys to do next time
looks like you guys got a wee tad too buzzed for the final round 😀but i put up with it anyways haaaa
Alberta Premium has just made a stigma for themselves by their pricing.
It is actually a top shelf rye
Yah, truly nice rye!
@@trennyandcwhisky It's even cheaper for me, as I literally live 10 minutes from the distillery. Lol
Great showdown, but a bit predictable......Everyone knows premium must be better than delux. Are we going to see AB premium move to the next round at $28 instead of $24....ie copper pot, Gibson’s, etc. Or is it too fancy if they are in glass bottles?
Yah we can do a what’s the best intermediate Canadian whisky 🤣
No outro song? Good bloopers though. 👍
Gotta switch it up sometimes, keep it fresh you know....
Followed. I gotta find me some Alberta Premium
Guys, I think the only Alberta I've seen around Myrtle Beach is the Dark Batch Rye Whisky for about $30 US. I can get the standard Lot No 40 2012 Edition for just a few dollars more. Any preference? A friend loves the Caribou Crossing at $50 US and I see the Crown Royal Noble 13 Year Blenders Mash and French Oak at about $55 US. I do enjoy that Lot No. 40 2012. Cheers.
Yah that Lot 40 2012 is some good stuff and impossible to find around here.
Lot 40 2012 is first edition after it came back and it’s 100% Rye, really good. Almost impossible to find. Caribou is another hard to get and it’s very good, even being only 40% ABV, it’s not produced.
@@rostislavtraps7148 Thanks! Will go back and buy up the rest of the 2012 bottles on the shelf this morning. The Caribou Crossing had like 5 bottles on the shelf.
we had a lit of Caribou and all of a sudden they disappeared and now I can’t find any; and I think all those cask were from closed distillery
@@rostislavtraps7148 I noticed some photos show a maple leaf on top of the stopper. All these have a caribou on the top. Any significant difference in the juice?
Isn't this like comparing all the different colors of cotton candy?
🤔😆
The life of a fruit fly was Canadian gold
We accidentally caught that conversation between rounds, we felt it was worth including 🤣
40 creeeeeek!!!!
no Black Velvet??? that's a Heaven Hill product lol.
Couldn’t find it in the little bottle....🤷🏻♂️
probably a good thing lol.
You forgot gibsons
I would say Gooderham and Worts 4grain is the best Canadian cheapish whisky…
AP is also the cheapest whiskey i can get when its on sale.
also did you guys shoot a youdube video before this one? :)
🤣 no I don’t think so 🤔
2 minutes on fruit flies! Let's see Ralfy do that in one of his videos. 😁🇨🇦😋
Do they have fruit flies on the Isle of Man?
I'll take Highwood just because it's not from Calgary.
🤣
Highwood is just colored rubbing alcohol!
Wow! A whisky shootout with collateral damage! (spoilers: a dead fruit fly)
I thought the collateral damage was going to be their taste buds! They are braver than me. It's like the Special Olympics of Whisky.
Actually the fruit fly survived!
@@UsedBrain4U Actually, these whiskies are pretty good. The real bottom shelf of Canada is the stuff they mix with cheap corn vodka and export to bars around the world. Canada Mist and Seagram's VO and a few others.
give it up for seth rogen and jimmy kimmel lol
Lol...I barely even like fruit anymore
French flag 🇫🇷
you may be consuming too much
We’re definitely consuming too much! That’s basically the premise of our channel!
