Having now watched all 7 of this series, I come away, once again, impressed by the LAND of the UK. I live in the USA, but my entire ethnic heritage is English, Irish, Welch, and Scott. Until my discovery of this seri9es and another You T8be channel ( My Narrowboat Quest) All I knew of the UK was from film and a few books (all mysteries)' and it all revolved around the cities.
What impresses is the vast expanse of open country and the beauty found in it.
That along with the stories told here have woven a whole new view and understanding of the land of my ancestors. My family name is associated (as best I know) with Weldon, Northman Chester. I know almost nothing about the place.
    This series was very interesting.
    Well Done.;-)

The castles name is most likely due to an overly amorous owner who had spent time in London and acquired the custom of snogging guests. Everyone else thought it was weird including many ambassadors
