YES. Finally. this song. It was perfect when all the flashbacks came in. We felt her pain. the emptiness and guilt she felt. From the moment she met him, all the happy times, and then the truth. The acceptance.. Lily Collins did great.
missabs M YES
missabs M so did zac, they all did great.
It’s Mozart.
@@bonninmanon2257 which ?
I don’t find the music on Spotify, does it have a specific name ?
This song fit the movie perfectly. Very dark moment in history.
So true. The queen of the night aria is a mother warning her daughter that unless she kills her new boyfriend he will destroy them ( in the play the mother is over reacting) but here the voice is right
@@thereseo6008 that's interesting. I never knew that, but it makes so much in this context.
Javi 87 why can’t I find this track anywhere except for on RUclips. It would go perfectly with my collection of dark emotional scores.
Tony Nelson curious to know what your list consists of I love looking for music like this as well !
@@TNELSONTV i would love if you shared this Playlist!
I don’t know why but I can’t get this music out of my head. It’s been echoing in my mind since I saw the movie a couple of days ago
Same here man. I've been walking around and humming it since I saw the movie two days ago.
The end scene while this played gave me chills. Her walking past all those detectives with all those files of missing women. finally she was free but so many others didn’t escape Ted.
me too wow I've been trying to figure out where I heard it for so long
Mozart: Queen of the Night Aria
Right! I mean I guess I could jump on this band wagon because I’ve been humming it too..
Perfect song to encompass the moment Liz finds out he is the true killer. Stills gives me chills.
Thomas Willis in the movie but in real life she had her doubts before. She was the one who called the cops on him and reported him as a suspect
In real life she learnt the truth by phone when he called her after getting captured in Florida
@@h.ar.2937 well yeah the movie portrayed that too
@@a.nastasia.olivia Oh yeah, to clarify: I just meant to say that in real life she didn’t find out the same way the movie portrayed it.
The end of the movie just left me there thinking about everything
Miss Meea I know right. I’ve seen the last 30 minutes about 50 times. This movie made me look at ppl differently.
Yes
But you knew what happened before you saw the movie. Absolutely fantastic directing and writing to be able to paint someone who had historically become ubiquitous with evil and murder as sympathetic, almost a victim, and almost leave you on the edge of your seat during the trials, as if history was going to be rewritten. Phenomenal. And whoever scored this scene deserves an award. (May have gotten one didn’t check prior)
Bfkgkh@@TNELSONTV
After he wrote hacksaw, it was the stare when his face went dark and you could see and feel the evil consume him that broke me.
matthew holbrook that was not evil. zac efron acted really well in this movie but you can’t act evil. you can’t get that look in your eyes unless you’re really evil. it was a great performance nonetheless though
Riley and Mia hare you can’t act evil.... lol
@@oPasifika ....unless you're an actor
Kiril Postnikov i csn tell you thought you did something. actors cant act evil unless theyre actually evil. case closed
matthew holbrook I cried when the police waved saying he was dead and everyone was cheering Ted died before I was born but I think he was rare there will never be another ted bundy he didn’t seem like a murder or and I don’t believe he is how could he kill all those women just doesn’t add up killing him didn’t really resolve anything all for vengeance if he did kill people the citizens should of not went down to his level and wanted him dead and cheered he just was rare in my opinion
I haven’t stopped listening to it since the movie. Omg
Creepy

Lolll that’s so funny I saw your comment! I’m obsessed with this song
I'm back again lol.. can't find this version of "Queen of the Night" on spotify..
Me too! I love classical musical.
this song makes a hole in the heart
When I was watching this part of the movie I felt weird. I literally felt like I was Liz or something. Lilly and Zac were brilliant! I absolutely felt like I was in that moment present.
Me too. I was literally feeling like I was Liz, and I put myself in her shoes of how much she loved and believed ted
ExoticJada exactly! That scene was powerful
This movie did an amazing job on doing that
It felt like I was actually there and witnessing everything, I forgot that I was in my room
For those who don't know, he did admit he tried to kill her once.
Do you know how?
@@KodyClarke "One of the more chilling moments of their relationship is the time Ted Bundy tried to kill his long-time girlfriend. The murderer called Kloepfer from his jail cell in Floridaand told her about it, too. According to reports, Bundy messed with the fireplace and covered the crack of a door with a towel, filling the house with smoke. Kloepfer later wrote that she remembered the night and had opened a window after struggling to breathe."
There’s a part in the movie where he’s looking at her back was he imagining stabbing her or something
@@prepsloveme If that's the point of the scene then it's pure fiction. Comment above shows his attempted killing of her in case you missed it :)
christina scott it was him thinking about biting her back, one of the victims he killed he did that too, and if you caught on the the dog barking scenes it was all apart of his fantasy in doing that to a girl which he would later do
"Take care of yourself, young man. I say that to you sincerely; take care of yourself, please. It is an utter tragedy for this court to see such a total waste of humanity as I’ve experienced in this courtroom.
You’re a bright (smart) young man. You would have made a good lawyer and I would have loved to have you practice in front of me, but you went another way (you just took the wrong path... ) "
- Judge Edward Douglas Cowart (speaking to Ted Bundy before his death execution)
Niki Wonoto 10 years before
Riley and Mia hare yeah i just said that u idiot
Its so sad..
I believe that if Ted didn't end out how he was he would have been an outstanding lawyer.
La ejecución de Ted fue en 1989 la sentencia fue unos años antes (Niki Wonoto)
H A C K S A W
This scene gave me chills all over. With the flashbacks cutting back and forth with him writing out each word and the sawing sound more apparent... also just the chilling look on Efron after writing it out felt like we were finally seeing the monster that was hiding behind the curtain for the first time in the movie.
I don’t know what it is about this song that perfectly catches the pure evil behind Bundy and the eeriness and sadness that followed once the truth behind his series of murders started to unravel. They perfectly nailed it.
Possibly because it sends off that charming effect of the choir from 'Queen of The Night', nodding to Bundy's charm. The violins remind us of the love story between his wife and daughter, and the music box reminds us of the pure evil that hides underneath.
When the violin came in I thought of the victims. The violin beautiful and youthful but has sad under tones of the lives that where cut short. Waste of potential
Who else only heard of this song because of the movie? Beautiful music!
m.ruclips.net/video/YuBeBjqKSGQ/видео.html
its over 300 years old!
Duh lol look at the video title..
This song made the entire movie worthy. Brilliant version of Mozart's famous tune.
As much as I love movie/TV-series/game-soundtracks, I'm furious that this masterpiece isn't on Spotify, so that I could add it to my list. 😡😭
This is one of those songs that are empowering and hit you right in the soul. It also makes you sit and reflect on the lives lost and the matter in which they were taken😪
HACKSAW.
This film wasn’t what I expected, Until the last 15 minutes when this music kicked it, it gives you chills and everything comes together, it made the film
Only unto those who had no clue what Ted bundy was before the film.
I almost replayed this over 100 times after I watched that last part of the movie.
Asaad Alwaili same
I never in my life felt so my intense shock and awe!! When he wrote.. " hacksaw" unreal!! Wow.. I couldn't believe.. holy.. wow!! Blew me off my seat... I almost ran down the hallways...exactly as the woman.. in slow mo.. with that song playing
Norm Mallett such a powerful seen showing there love from the beginning then showing his true self to admitting to the killings this was a amazing scene a got me in my feels
@@CatmanGamingTheRUclipsr of course he never loved her and really just saw her as someone he could manipulate. The whole "we started with a lie" being perfect
He didnt actually do that. That conversation never took place. They hadnt spoken in years. Loved the intensity of it all and this fit perfectly
Does anyone remember being young? A little boy or girl in their bed, alone at night calling their parents into their room for fear something unspeakable resided underneath? The ignorance of a young mind believes a monster will look and act like a monster. A monster consumes flesh and fear, and not only lives but strives on it. Yeah. I miss that. But one day, we all grow up, and we learn the monsters were never in our closet, or under our bed. They were far more sinister because they looked just like us. Talked like we talked. Breathed as we breathed. Theodore Robert Bundy is one of, if not the best example of the old principle See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. A true psychopath, and the embodiment of all that is monstrous. Extremely wicked, shockingly evil, and vile, indeed.
BradDaMan read this while
the song was playing. gave me chills
He killed his first victim when he was 14 news paper route
This was a really good read so very true
BradDaMan Beautiful 😭🖤🖤
jorge rivera that’s not true, we don’t know who or when he killed his first victim because of how many people he killed
“THE MONTSERS ARE AROUND US’’
This is soo true, how many house or buildings will we walk past in our lives and not realise there’s someone trapped in the basement or room, it scares my you know, the friendly neighbour could be doing so cruel acts without us suspecting a thing and the youngest generation will grow up in fear it scares me to death…
this is so hauntingly beautiful

I have tried every search :/
"Die Zauberflöte" from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was my favorite when I was a kid, with The Queen of the Night as the highlight. This version of that piece is great and it gave me the chills when I saw the movie. Rock me Amadeus!!
Set this as my ringtone now... Beautifuly haunting piece of music 😌
Thank you for posting this!! I’ve been studying serial killers all my life and when this part came on, I started tearing up. Finally a movie showing the true nature of how beautiful a human can be and how violent we can be. And when I realized it was The Queen of the Night, I said, omg, it’s beautiful!!! Recapping all their happy memories together, took me back to when my girlfriend was alive before she died years ago of kidney cancer. This was such a beautiful film!!! 😞❤️❤️
Peter MacDonough so have I! It’s fascinating.
I'm really sorry to hear that. I wish you alot of strength
i think theyre not recapping all their happy moments but all the moments she couldnt see who he truly was and didnt realise she and her daughter were in danger
Interesting isn't it? His brain is that way, in his mind,in his reality we are the abnormal one, not he
Best music for the best part.
This entire scene gave me chills
I thought this scene was so well done.
I love this song.
Yay Mozart! 💖
This really is an emotional song...
Did anyone else feel like at times the movie wanted you to believe Ted or feel bad for him? I mean he is clearly guilty but just the tone of the movie sometimes.
I agree
envious demon FUCK NO I DID NOT FEEL BAD FOR THAT CRAZY FUCKING MAN (four months late so srry lol)
well.. I think the movie was trying to give a thought of socipaths/ pathological liars..the know they are guilty, but their lack of empathy/ emotions, intelligence , and the general vulnerablility of an average human makes it easy for them to decieve
@@gennab6962 sorry for late reply but I agree about not feeling bad for him but if you had not know about Bundy's history before the movie I ment. This version of his story is supposed to be about liz point of view and we never see him commit or confuse to the crimes until the very end. Unlike the older version of this movie were we see him commit alot of his crimes.
@@GabrielleTollerson this version in my opinion was making us the audience a part of the real story on how he never admitted to his crimes until the end when he was trying to save his life. Ironic that he could have pled guilty and saved his life and still he could have told his lies and kept saying he was truly innocent.
You'll go down in history simply known as a legend
yes thank you u god
It was a powerful moment to put this song in
I NEED THIS ON SPOTİFY
"It took me over a decade to look at this photo. What happened to her head?"..."Animals wouldn't do that."..."YOU NEED TO RELEASE ME, TED!" -HACKSAW- 😱🤯🤢🤮😵💀😭😷
right?
What a better way to reveal just a little intel on how evil he was and how wickedly good he was at convincing many people he was normal and not a monster. What a great movie it was.
I nearly cried in fear when he wrote “hacksaw”
I just watched the movie. This song got stucked in my head. And I love it. I want to feel Liz's pain over and over again. If only I can reset and go back again to the first time when the scene rolled in front of my eyes. I always look for this kind of moving piece from movies and it certainly did me well. Gosh, what else could I watch?
I don't want you to experience these feelings, you can remain a stutterer
This music acompannied the scene so perfectly. I loved that moment as she broke down and every sweet memory she had of him turned into something sinister now that she knew who he really was.
This was the moment Liz realized the night she met him the only thing that saved her was the babysitter!!!! If she had not been there he was going to kill her and the reason he "claimed to love her " was because she was the one that got away sorta speak!
Juste la meilleure chanson qu'il fallait pour ce final monstrueux ,accompagné par la suite d'image d'archives poignantes ... énorme film !!
The level of skill this song has the impact it has on this movie the emotion it gives off on the how the characters are played out. He had us all fooled. And this song just sums up how a beautiful nice sweet handsome ted was he was in reality a monster a person who killed allegedly 30 people and he did it without any remorse. This was truly a great movie that a lot of people should watch to understand what it’s really major
YESSSS. Thank you very much I was looking all over for this song. It’s so beautiful and vile.
Just saw the movie. Thanks for posting!!!

This is from Mozart's "Zauberflöte": Arie: "Der Hölle Rache kocht in meinem Herzen"!!

this song is amazing! whow!! was perfect for this film.
I love how this song was used. For you who don’t know this song is about the daughter of the queen killing the queens rival for vengeance and if not done, she will disown her... idk I’m trying to draw parallels like if he doesn’t confess to her then she will leave him for good. Something like that.
Thank you for sharing that. How did you know this? Was it in a movie, a play??
gramma doh it’s a song from the opera “The Magic Flute”. The song is the Queen’s Aria and it’s beautiful.
gramma doh the opera is a dark story. And that song is like the turning point.
GOD !!!!! this song scared the hell out of me...........
Greatest movie ending I've ever seen this song fits so perfectly
Who else is still listening to 'Queen of The Night' in 2019!?? Can I get a what, what!!!
The thing is... He would've been such a good person in life if he wasn't criminally insane
"I would have loved seeing you practice in my court but you went another way partner"
Niggasaw
Waker Borealis Smith He wasn’t insane though, and that’s what’s scary about all this!
He would have been an outstanding lawyer
I think there was something that came out about a brain scan on him, that he was physically incapable of feeling the emotion of empathy. Cuz as far as serial killers go, he’s a bit of an anomaly. Didn’t have a difficult upbringing or a product of abuse, and wasn’t a complete social outcast. His former classmates asserted that he wasn’t as popular or sociable as he thought he was, but still seemingly not a total loner or weirdo. Such an interesting case
The first time her voice caressed my ear drums I was utterly enticed by her hums highs & lows.
It resonated with me so hard to the point where I took a physical recording of the end scene just because I needed to listen to this immaculate song.
The love he showed her (fake or not) seemed so genuine, & seeing the scenes play over made me realise how long-full I am for that exact feeling. I know that was not the intentions of the movie what’s soever. The love just looked so real, & must of touched a romantic string of mine.
All together though: ADD THIS TO SPOTIFY DAMN!

I think I’ve heard this song in a car commercial and thank god it came in this movie because I couldn’t have find it since
Gaming Paladin It’s an aria from The Magic Flute, an opera by Mozart. It is usually sung much faster. This slow haunting version suited this film.
Short, haunting, great.
The movie had me thinking maybe Ted really is Innocent and then the end just ruins humanity
ricardo pozos-guzman Same I always had that small hunch that he was framed and there were just so many coincidences. But how his composure changed towards the end... absolutely spine-chilling
Ricardo Masvidal that’s because he actually wasn’t framed. His last day before his death sentence he confessed to 30 killings but people believe there is more
H. Ar. There is definitely more
Didn't ruin no humanity. There was no humanity in him. He never learned to value life, only hatred and control.
