When looking for a bike seat we had a few things in mind, we wanted a seat with a good price, lightweight, easy installation and obviously one that our 15 month old son would love. I looked long and hard on Amazon and found the Thule RideAlong Child Bike Seat and boy am I glad we bought it. It's lightweight and fits great on our specialized road bikes.

Hello, what a good video, I would like to know if the chair moves a lot when it is only held from the front
Mounted to the front? The only time I noticed it moving was going over bumps! I would say that to never put your kid in it before you are not sitting on it or it functions like a sea-saw!

I have a cannindale caad13 road bike And was looking for this exact video with a road bike and a child seat. Looking to purchase this exact seat and ive had ppl tell me i shouldnt use it on a road bike,
Im not a crazy fast rider at all,
How safe would you say your road bike with the child seat is? My daughter is 18months

I felt very safe with both of my kids. Not a crazy fast rider either. We didn’t go super long distances mainly on trail roads etc! I feel like it worked up until the weight limit for both kids! Hope this info helps.

Is this a carbon frame? Do you know if this seat can be mounted on a carbon frame?
Nope, you risk crushing your carbon frame. No child seat can go on carbon. This will be alloy.
Hi, did you have any issues installing it with the cables running along the seat tube? Did the mount go over or under the cables? Thanks!
Install was really easy! I don't believe we had these issues!

I have a daughter 8,5 months, is ok for this age?
Under 1 year old is too young they cannot handle the stress of wind blowing to them or the speed.. consult the doctor of your baby n wife.
I started using it when my son was 9 months old. I didn’t go for long rides and I felt like it worked great. I still haven’t used it with my 16 month old daughter, yet!
