As an experienced Guard player i was yelling at my screen half the time, since so many mistakes were made, but it being the first match he actually uses guard id say it was alright :)
Fun fact/total bs putrifiers hyper blight grenade is the only assult weapon in the whole DG index/ have access to entirely. DG also doesn't have a single heavy weapon. All the flamers and blighlaunchers used to be assult, and entropy cannons and mortars used to be heavy, DG got F'd hard this edition. Brigands chaincannons also lost assult from 9th to 10th. So the slowest army in the game can't really take advantage of advancing and shooting, and they also don't get any benefit from sitting still. F all the people who wrote DGs index. I'm loosing my will to play 40k, I've got 3 armies and they all feel like ass. Demolisher cannons, rapid-fire battle cannons, and thermal cannons are part of the reason. The disparities between armies that have rerolls vs armies that don't is part of what's breaking 10th imo.
The reason why the table was cursed/having troubles was that Bridger was using the Admeck discs instead of using his Nurgle dics that upset Grandfather Nurgle that sat on the table to the right of him that i noticed through out this battle report, oops ey 😢
I take your argument and raise you- not +x damage, but no save inside melta range. Don't know how to adjust this for baby knights and bigguy knights, but maybe just have a raw increase in damage?

melta shouldnt be +2 damage it should be melta range = anti vehicle 4+
