First time I've seen any of your videos. Loved the clarity of your explanations and clear visual demonstration...including tips. Really inspirational! Thank you.
I love your quilts! My least favorite part of making a quilt is cutting & this one has LOTS of cuts. However...I think I really really need this quilt.
Krista, you are such a great teacher. You remind me of Eleanor Burns. She was one of the first quilt ladies to make quilts fast and easy with great instructions. Keep up the great work. I'm going to check my Moser templates. I think I have that one and make a quilt.
Thank you for this awesome video! Because of it, I am very sure the cutting will not deter me. That is usually what slows me down. I’ve pre-ordered, the Dancing Dahlias fabric kit with the Creative Grids Tiny 60-degree Diamond Ruler. Thank you and I look forward to completing this quilt. You are super amazing. ❤
I loved making your Grandma's Flower Patch pattern so I ordered this kit immediately. I'm just now getting ready to start. I always love your colors so the kits are nice and having the rulers make it easy. Thank you for the videos Krista!
What a great kit! Those leaves tucked between the posies are absolute genius. Of course I ordered the kit and the second quilt I make will be from my vast array of scraps…following your plan will help me visualize the assembly of my colors, too!
Hahaha! I first made this using nothing but stash! Some of the blocks look surprisingly cute with crazy different fabrics... and some others look a little funky ;)
Anytime you pop up on my RUclips feed, I know to grab my wallet before clicking the video. In the time I went to investigate whether or not I wanted the scallop ruler, the fabric/ruler/pattern bundle sold out. 😢 I’ve preordered for the next time. Gorgeous pattern, as usual!
I just finished my first cutting session and now I am starting to sew my background and my light flower colors. I’m so excited to see how it turns out! Krista, I have learned so much from you. Your patterns and your tutorials have made me a much more confident quilter!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!
I am trying to come up with an idea for a baby quilt. I think this would be perfect. I would use only seven of the flowers. Then with the background fabric make it the size it needs to be.
I love the video, I've been trying to find out if you starch your fabric before cutting, I looked on your blog and your website but couldn't find the answer. Thank you. V
I don't often starch before cutting, but I do press with steam so the fabric is super flat. I typically starch the whole blocks when I get each one done.
I know you said that you created this pattern with your new mini ruler in mind, but I’m wondering if the large 60 degree ruler could be used as well. I have the biggest one and am thinking of getting the 4 1/2” size, but can’t have three of these rulers. What are your thoughts. Beautiful pattern, I also love your endless creativity.
You can do this pattern with the largest 60 degree diamond ruler, it has all the right lines except the 3 1/2" hexagon. There is another way to get that cut with the large ruler though, so let me know if decide to do it that way and I can help you with how to adapt for the large ruler!
@@kristamoser thank you for the quick response! One more reason you are so great, many others take much longer to reply. I will let you know when I purchase the pattern, I have a few WIPs I have to finish up first, but I’m also leaning towards getting the 4 1/2” ruler because you have so many patterns that can use that one as well. I love your style, always so fresh and bright. Thank you for all your hard work! Happy quilting!!
Beautiful, as usual. Is there a math to use 2 1/2 jelly roll strips. I know the flowers would be smaller, but how cute it would be😅 and its so easy to get jelly rolls,
There is math! You could take the written measurements, remove the seam allowance. Diminish that measurement by 1/3 then add the seam allowance back in!
@@kristamoser Fat Quarter Shop gave us your tiny ruler in one of the last Sew Sampler Boxes and I have been looking for a pattern to use it with! Thank you so much and I will use a Jelly Roll as well! Off to download your pattern.

From my Mom: why don't you do a pattern where I don't have to go out and buy stuff. Give the shapes online so that I can cut them out of cardstock. You gave me nothing to do. Waste of my time.
This is a cheerful quilt. Love the beautiful bright colors. Thank you for making another video. I’m always looking for you on RUclips.
I have about three more fun tutorial videos I will be trying to pull together soon! It has been a busy year already :)
Your patterns are incredibly exact and way easier than they look, but they have a very complex look to them. Love this new one.
Thank you Melanie! That's why I do these videos! I figure no one would believe how easy they are if they didn't see it for themselves!
How adorable! Absolutely a quilt to welcome Spring❣️
Yes Sandra! It is time to usher in the new season!!
Beautiful 😍

I love your quilts! My least favorite part of making a quilt is cutting & this one has LOTS of cuts. However...I think I really really need this quilt.
:) It isn't so bad when you take it one block at a time! Each flower is like a new surprise when it's done.
Your patterns are my absolute favorite. Thank you 😍🥰

Beautiful quilt. Little challenging with placing colors and cuts, but I may try it. Thanks for the tutorial ❤❤❤❤
You can just play around with the layout Doris! Each block can be a new arrangement :)

So pretty and I do have some scraps but your always look so much better than mine. Clever Krista as ever❤❤❤👏👏
Hahaha! I first made this using nothing but stash! Some of the blocks look surprisingly cute with crazy different fabrics... and some others look a little funky ;)
@ 7:58 the purple petals and yellow centre make a nice butterfly
Funny you should say that! I used those jewel shapes in my butterfly block (from Fluttery Frolic) but I turned them to point in!
This is perfect for the new season. Can't wait to make it.
YES!! I am aching for everything spring right now!
Very pretty, you’re so creative! I appreciate your easy to follow tutorials, it makes me feel I can do it too 😊
You can do Andree! They are so much easier than they look.

The cutest one yet! Is that possible? 😊
Hahaha! I think so too :)
This is perfect❤️
Thank you so much Catherine!
Phew you don’t stop for breath ! Can I make this with your large diamond ruler ?
Hahaha! I know! It's like drinking from a fire hose ;) Yes you can, but you'll need to do a little different process for the 3 1/2" hexagon cut.
Fantástico la felicito, muy buen programa😊
Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it :)
I’ve already purchased my kit

Yep! You sure can!

I'm sorry you had to write that for your mom, Bill. But it's nice that you help her share her optimism and cheer! She sounds delightful :)
