    Hi Caroline!! Thank you for having such awesome and informative videos. I have a few (more like a lot) random questions about Columbia.
    1) I know that depending on the college, there is either grade deflation or inflation. I was wondering which one Columbia has and how drastic it is? I am planning on going through the pre-med track, and GPA is very important for medical school admissions.
    2) How many years of guaranteed on-campus housing is there?
    3) How hard/easy is it to change majors?
    4) Are there any ballet/dance clubs or dance classes you can take for PE? Also, are there dance studios that are open for use to undergrad students?
    5) How difficult is it to get an on-campus job?
    6) Are lab internships easy to find for undergrads and how competitive are they to obtain? Also, are the lab internships usually on campus or at an off-campus lab?
    7) I know that some universities are on the quarter system, while columbia is on the semester. How do you like the semester system? Do you feel like you can take all the classes you want to take in the eight semesters you have while at columbia? 8) How good is the study abroad program? Is it easy to study abroad and are there lots of resources?
    Sorry for all the questions, and no worries if you can't answer some! Thank you again :)

    Hi Caroline! Thank you so much for this video, it’s really really helpful. I’m a high school student at the moment, and I want to study my pre med courses at the University of Columbia! Does it give full scholarships for international students in pre med? What requirements? Any advice what exactly should I do now for being accepted. Thank you in advance!

    Hi Caroline, thank you for making this video! I had a question- Does Columbia College offer bachelor of science (BS) degrees; or are BS degrees offered only at the engineering college?

    • @CarolineChen
      @CarolineChen  2 года назад +1

      Hi Gauri! Great question-yep, all CC students who graduate earn BA degrees and SEAS students earn BS degrees :D

    • @_gauri
      @_gauri 2 года назад +1

      @@CarolineChen thank you for answering! So I'm understanding you correctly, it is not possible for a CC student to graduate with a BS degree, right?

    • @CarolineChen
      @CarolineChen  2 года назад

      yep! CC awards only BA degrees 😊 although there is a combined program where you can earn a BA from CC and BS from SEAS, if that interests you: www.cc-seas.columbia.edu/csa/combined_plan
