Walkabout is by far my favorite game on VR. So simple yet beautiful immersion.
Here's the thing for me:
Walkabout Mini Golf is by far and away the most fun game I have on the Quest 2, nothing else comes close, I've more hours in this than any other native Quest game.
However, Golf+ is by far and away the most realistic golf game I've EVER played. I have a ridiculous slice IRL, and it's there in game 100% identically.
You guys aren't competition, but by God I never expected my two most played VR titles to both be golf games.
I love that these guys are into each others games. I love both games even though id give the edge to walkabout i think they can learn alot and grow with each other

Hit the nail on the head late in the interview... Solo players. I play solo. I like to play alone. I enjoy VR environments alone. I love how tranquil the courses can be without distractions; the way Arizona Modern is. I spend the work day seeing and interacting with hundreds of people. Please give me something to do by myself. It's great to have the options but let people just relax and slap a ball around.
As an original quest 1 fan, If this game never became so huge, it would've been the biggest upset in gaming history.
Love both of these games, and it's nice to see the developers complementary of the games that the others are making. It was very cool to see them playing each others games and apparently honestly enjoying them.

The only thing walkabout is missing is a ranking system. Maybe a tournament mode with randoms. I’d like to see my ranking and progression. But even without all that Im in love with the game.

I love both! I see walkabout having the edge because it probably appeals to more ppl that aren’t that into golf.
WALKABOUT is the only game I have time for.

Both of these are great games headed by great teams. You can't go wrong with either!
I do caution people playing Golf+ to still go to the range and swing a real club though! I played nothing but Golf+ for two years and then went out to the course... couldn't hit the ball. Used to be able to hack it around okay but my goodness it was embarrassing. I think I learned some (more) bad habits just swinging with a few ounce controller!

I still enjoy both games. Golf+ is a little too realistic for me (I'm bad). Walkabout is by far the best VR game in general.
can you use stock attatchments in walkabout? I just bought one but could see any options in the menu???
Yes! Under settings to the right in the main shack menu on “Welcome Island”.

minigolf seem to have more beautiful world than golf +. but i dont know about mechanic or gameplay, that can make things different
