Yes, it was little bit confusing. Maybe too much additional informations but I finally oriented in the tutorial and started learning. Best parts are these slowmotions where the camera is little bit further from Clark and everytihing is clear. :-)
Having 2 colors (4 balls: 2 of one color in your left hand, 2 of the other color in your right hand) helps a lot while learning. That way, you can tell if the balls are staying in the correct hand since it’s hard to track each throw individually.
Great ! That how it should be taught. I can only add that if you want to start from the fountain with outside throws. It feels like two outside throws, but it's actually three outside throws before you cross arms.
Well whenever I go from fountain to MM; I do it with 2 outside throws. For 4 ball MM, that's the minimum amount of throws necessary for a clean transition imo, as you need every flying ball to fly towards the center before crossing, and there are only 2 flying balls.
This is a well made tutorial that I'm convinced I'll successfully learn this trick with. I know this video took a lot of work to do and it shows. However, it is frustrating that the slow motion clips repeatedly show Clarke catching the balls in a different order than in the normal speed clips and this isn't ever explained. People can figure it out, but it's obviously something unnecessarily confusing.
My apologies there. I was focusing on different aspects of the trick while I was talking (like speed of throws). All of the slow-motion footage is accurate as I figured that's what would be most referenced for determining catch placement. And there is some text in the video that lets people know that. But again, my apologies for any confusion.
@@clarkeemalarkee again, I appreciate all the care and craft you put into the video and into answering my comment, and it's very cool to be able to see the video for free. thank you for it.
Wow It was a gift to find your video, thank you very much for sharing your method, you explain it very well, I hope to achieve it these days, thank you very much and happy life ... by the way, I do not know how to write in English, so I hope the translator of Google I used, translate relatively well hahaha Greetings from Colombia.
I tried doing the two ball practices a bit and got the feel for them but could never get close to putting them together. A few weeks later (now) im fiddling around with four balls, trying to come up with some cool tricks, and i try the mills mess and somehow can just do it. Idk how that happened, but i just have the feel for it now, and only need practice to get consistent. Ty for the tutorial! Also something that helps me keep track of the balls it this: on each side of your body, you throw 3 balls from the outside in. 3 balls from the left side, 3 from the right side. On the left side, the first and last ball of those 3 will be caught in your right hand, and on the right side of your body, only the middle ball of the 3 will be caught in your right hand. Focusing on this helps me keep track of where i am in the pattern, and i would recommend trying it to those learning. Edit: im having trouble with the balls colliding midair though, anyone have advice for that? Or just practice?
Just practice for the collisions. Try thinking of each throw as more straight up and down and less arc/curve. That'll help with the collisions. Add the fancy wave motion of it once the collisions go away.
I've been juggling for 3 years now and was really happy about learning this trick. Than I got my hopes shattered by the prerequesits and kinda lost hope :D
Hi Clarke I've understood the throws of when and where to catch the four balls (with the slow motion) but only ball by ball, I'm getting quicker at that but if I keep drilling this and do it faster will I eventually do the trick even though I know all four balls need to go up as in the flash? I've tried learning it before throwing all four balls up into the pattern and trying it from a reverse fountain and it got confusing at least this way (probably not a great idea) ball by ball I know and have learnt where the catches and throws are to be made and feel like I progressed a little. Thank you very much
Yeah I think if you've learned the right placement and understand the two-in-one-hand mentality behind the trick, it's just a matter of time before it clicks. Some people learn better ball by ball and others just keep trying it using different entry methods until it makes sense to them. I went the ball by ball approach here to explain how the trick works, but whatever method makes sense to you is great!
@@clarkeemalarkee Thank you very much Clark for your fast reply I hope you are well. Let me crack on with it and will let you know how it goes, got the 4th throw for the first time curving inwards today both side from the flash, Taylor's new video has helped too regarding the height and not to forget to mention your video is also very good! Once again thank very you much.
