    Another great video Tom.
    Runs and sounds great (as you stated), not a whisp of steam past cylinder packings etc.
    You have certainly got the hang of your edditing suite.

    It is curious how some safety valves, "blow a raspberry" and others just roar in the more prototypical way.

      It comes down to the design of the seating of the ball inside the valve, and the builder/owners preference for how they lift.

    There are lots of comments from people to extend the length of the bogie frame to clear the cylinders, did you find this was needed?

      This isn’t my loco, I was just driving it as it was built and is owned by a friend, but as far as I know it was built to the Martin Evan’s drawings with no problems. I don’t know if it’s ever been round really tight radius curves, but has always done well wherever it’s been.
