Ride Amtrak Silver Star with me from NY to DC (FULL RIDE)

Taken 6/22/20, decided to do a full long distance train ride video from NY to Washington, DC on the Amtrak Silver Star 91. And best part I recorded the engine switch once we got to DC. ACS-64 disconnects from 91 then P-42 Diesel locomotive connects to 91.
14:54 - departing Newark, NJ
51:00 - departing Trenton, NJ
1:19 - departing Philadelphia, PA leaving the lounge car with my food
1:46 - departing Wilmington, DE
2:26 - departing Baltimore, MD
2:59 - arriving Washington, DC - Union Station including engine switch from ACS-64 to P42 Genesis

Im actually planning that too, I wouldn’t mind being on a train over 24hrs at least i get to be on th ground where its more safe. Planning on heading to Orlando

@@jayydarailfaner549 Yeah I flown to Florida many times too. I would like to see the scenery while going there. That's the main reason why I would do a trip like that. Do many people take the Amtrak Silver Star/Meteor from NY?

@@kennywilliams794 well yea but some people can take the Star/Meteor from either station other than NY so yea, i flown to FL 3 times, i just get a lil nervous cuz of turbulence can happen anytime, i still wouldn’t mind th plane, i do rather train cuz like u said i like the scenery and a good way to meet people

@@jayydarailfaner549 Yeah I hate the turbulence sometimes. Yeah the relaxation & scenery. The only thing that hurts Amtrak is the long delays which is not their fault but priority is given to the freight trains.
