12:00 - this is a massive error, extremely misleading. C-AF in ProCap is only disabled in the 120fps mode.
I'm still a bit salty they didn't update the original OM-1 more. On one hand, they were probably somewhat limited by the hardware (I realize that the camera is more than just the sensor and processor). On the other, I'm finding it hard to believe they couldn't backport at least some of the features.
Either way, I'll probably be getting this box at some point. Blackout-free shooting at lower fps, bigger buffer, better af - those are all improvements that will definitely impact my photography.
I love everything about this camera. That being said I still use my e m1.1. The tilting screen is what keeps me using it. I may get another one as a backup.
I have my em10 mark III. I don't think picture quality is any different.
The battery life of 500 shots is as per industry test specs - real life I've taken 2000 in a day at model shoots and still have power. These cameras are amazing. Question: which lens was attached at the 10:00 mark? thanks.
It looks like the zuiko 40-150 f/2.8
Digidirect used wrong person to review this camera. He kept on going on about full frame sensor preferences and OM1 will never be this. Should have had a nature or sports photographer review the camera seriously. However, I have done enough of my own research to convince me to purchase this camera with the 150-600mm lens.
And it is a good portrait camera.
