My mum owns a rabbit and Guinea pig boarding business and instead of using sawdust or similar things for the Guinea pigs, she uses newspaper with a soft blanket on top as it creates less mess and you can just wash it and re use it again...hope that helps Alfie ly xoxo

Keep the piggies on fleece, they won't have any shavings then to spill out! My pigs love to snuggle, if you handle them enough and feed them when you cuddle them they will eventually learn that they are safe, maybe make sure that you don't have Nala around when they are out.

You can use a fabric wrap to stop the sawdust getting out. Most pet stores have them in the bird cage section.

I have a guinea pig and he's really social in the cage, then really not when tryna get him out and then really social when he's out and comfortable
He should have just called this video "WE HAVE A DOG!!"
I think if you bring them out for cuddles and runs around they get used to it, so if you haven't trained them they won't. Like we have adult Guinea pigs and we have to force them out the hutch, but the baby we have is so sociable bc we got him into it young. Hope this helps 👍🏼

For guinea pigs you can use small animal litter/bedding, it's less messy than what you use and absorbs better so lasts longer and doesn't smell that much :)

Use tape along the edges! It's easy to remove when you want a full pen cleanout and the sawdust will stick to the tape so when you take it off, all of the collected sawdust won't fall out on the ground! Like so Alfie will see!!!!

For Pippin and Percy, you could put plastic around the bottom of the cage to stop the saw dust❤️
I know a way to prevent the sawdust: where the gap between the s build a plank of wood about 2 inches so the sawdust falls onto the wood xx
They make like material skirt that you can wrap around bottom of cage. I'm sure Zoey could sew one up with some material and elastic. Google it. We have them in the US.

Hi Zalfie!! I have rabbits as pets 😌😌 not sure if they are the same as guinea pigs but I had two rabbits. One was kept in a cage all day since young and was not carried nor let out to roam in my house. It has thus became unsociable and afraid to roam out of its comfort zone!! On the other hand, the other rabbit who gets to come out everyday and is adored by everyone (given lots of attention) is really sociable and friendly!! Maybe you guys have given too much love to Nala (ok sorry if I'm mistaken yeah!) thats why your guinea pigs are not very responsive to anything other than food :)
