I had forgotten all about Jeroboam. Was so caught up with Elijah and Elisha and had to go back to remember him. Wish i wouldn’t forget everyone and everything I’ve read.

Exactly! I get so frustrated that I quickly forget what I already read. Taking notes and reviewing them helps.

Great sermon! I have really changed up the music I listen to now.. Loving the Message and the Christian artists, like Olivia Lane's the Woman at the Well... So powerful!

We really appreciate the teaching of Pastor Paul as he opens the Word of God. We live in London UK but if we were in Ontario, we would definitely join Pastor Paul's church. Thank you for faithfully preaching The Word.

Amen, I remember a passage about discernment.
There will be a time when we will be able know when we are leading people to christ, and when we were throwing pearls before swine.

I've never thought of your music distracting. I'm old school and love hymns, but I also love the acoustic songs that your church does with contemporary music that I listen to on the radio. Like, I love the acoustic version of, All Hail King Jesus, by Jeremy Riddle.
For me, I find it very distracting with a lot of the churches around my area, as if they're putting on a Toby Mac concert with flashing lights and very loud music. I personally would be so frazzled with that and not even hearing any of the words because the music is so loud. A friend of ours is a 'praise dancer' at her church and they dance around the stage with ribbons and flags. I feel the same about that as far as being too distracting, but to each his own, I guess.

Well that was a very abrupt and unsatisfying ending. What was the source of the "great wrath"? Demonic? God? It certainly wasn't just that the soldiers were horrified.

But he didn’t “ bring in a worship band”, he asked for “a” musician. One musician. Probably a quiet meditative music.

It doesn't make sense why they would just leave because a pagan king decided to kill his own son
God had already promised to give them the land and they just decide to leave!!?

I don't think Elisha was traveling with the army ,i think he livesout in the desert ,if we read chapter 4it tell us that the shumanite woman had to go look for him on mount carmel ,i think you are right about him being a loner.though
