FX’s new original series The Bear is about food, family, the insanity of the grind, the beauty of Sense of Urgency and the steep slippery downsides. As the young chef Carmy fights to transform both The Original Beef of Chicagoland and himself, he works alongside a rough-around-the-edges kitchen crew that ultimately reveal themselves as his chosen family.

"Don't stop making sandwiches" is honestly just great life advice.
“You want perfection? Start with a shower.”
😂😂😂😂
That final bit where the kitchen is flashing before your eyes as you finally fall asleep after a long shift is so real
The ASMR on that peanut butter sandwich was excellent
I can see why it wins in best comedy. Its soo hilarious 😂 😅
“I thought this was your house?!”
Good old Carmy burn. 🔥
Carmy has anger issues
More issues than that
Carmy is very mad
Maybe, but a kitchen and the sense of urgency are just overwhelming anyone.
You ever worked in the back of the house before?
Maybe, but consider the reality of working in the back of the kitchen. I used to work at the back of chick fil and there were times that it would go from laid back to chaos in seconds.
Who caught "Pasta Grannies"? 00:39
THE ORIGINAL BEEF of CHICAGOLAND ✊️
Lol Fox gets this show
Why are chefs and salaried managers always acting like cant afford labour. It's one the most expensive parts of a kitchen, but it takes money to make money. Stressing about it so openly only stresses your employees and makes them lose faith in you or the job. Invest in them.
Terrible work culture
Not in good kitchens.
Am i the only person on earth that finds "asmr" weird?
Nope, me too
@@wicked_death2859 k just checkin'' man. Ppl listening to amplified sounds of shaving or eating or whatever. Wtf? How about an ASMR of me farting in an elevator yeah?
real asf@@batman-telephoneman5479
@@batman-telephoneman5479 im sure thered be someone watching if you want to make that video
I bet there's people that would love to hear you fart in an elevator...🤷♂️
Holy Cringe
Gross. I did not need to see a close up of him eating jelly toast. Also: as someone who has worked in my fair share of restaurants, in real life this guy would either be in the hospital or dead after the first day. So please, stop spreading the b.s. that this is a realistic show. It's not.
As someone who has spent the last 17 yrs in the industry it’s pretty spot on. How is it not exactly?
@@pjcaps100 I don't know what industry you supposedly worked in, but it definitely wasn't any restaurant I've worked at. Anyone who started screaming like that having a temper tantrum while on the job would have been immediately fired or beaten the hell up. Did you work at a restaurant run by pre schoolers or something?
@@TheBerylknight so that’s the only part that makes you say it’s unrealistic?
@@pjcaps100 I haven't watched the show. So I was just referring to this clip in particular, and that's really the only thing in this clip that pertains to the restaurant (which people keep telling me so realistic) is this guy chewing everyone out. There maybe other things I think are unrealistic, but I'd have to watch the show or more clips to know for sure.
But no restaurant employees I've ever worked with - chef or not - would put up with a guy acting like this. He would be immediately fired or beaten into a pulp. At least in my experience that's what would happen. These workers must be total bitches to put up with someone treating them like that. So maybe I just come from a place that has less bitches or something... I don't know. But it's just not realistic to me.
@@TheBerylknight nothing like making an assumption of the entire show off a clip. Well done
