This is such a terrific idea. I’ve wanted one for quite sometime but didn’t want to spend $12 or $15 for one. Now, I’m inspired to make my own. Thanks so much! You did a fantastic job‼️
I just use an eye pin and a necklace extender (short one) with a lobster claw clasp. Attach the beaded danglers to the chain loops, hook the lobster claw clasp to the eye pin, stick it in your glue bottle. Easy!
Hi thank you. Like a lot of people in a bit of a slump. You've made me focus on something. I too loose pins . Have a great day stay safe 🐘Jean from south africa
Darling Glue Dangles... Great job on your video... THX 🙏 for sharing.... I've made adout 4 of them & now will use your "figure 8" wire in any new ones.... 👌 🍾🥂📌💃🌹🎶🐝😎
Hello Tracie, I too went to buy one from West Texas Sass to be told she didn't send outside of the USA so I have a friend who lives in Florida and got them sent to her and bought one for my friend too. They are lovely but I think I could do with more now as I have different types of glue, and would like them for those also. My husband is going to make them for me as he is so good at this sort of thing, he makes my stick pins too :) Thank you for once again sharing this tutorial with us, you are so very kind and I too love all your videos. xxxxx
Well, I need to get some better pins and better bottles. They are holding up but not as sturdy as I would like. Need to get some better supplies then have another go. Yes that is why I decided to make one as she only posts US although she told me she is hoping to offer international shipping soon xx
The pin bends on the one I got from her so I would say yest to stronger pins and maybe have a bigger bottle so you can get the pins in. They do need to fit snug don't they? Silver or stainless steel pins as they won't rust. Good luck xxxx
i love this, and while watching this i realised that i have everything i need to make me some of them-i dont have much chain thogh but i think i have a broken necklace hmm somewere and i need to make me at least one or i will lose my needle... Thank you for this video. Hugs from norway
Thank you so much for this videoe guide Tracie. Gayle A posted the link for this and I had to go find it. I will be making one of these tomorrow as I am fed up of my glue clogging up.
I am over-the-moon in love with these. I think you did an expert quality job sweetie. I would much rather make my own than buy. You know how satisfying it is & means so much more when you handcraft something yourself vs buying. I'm fairly handy at making boho beads & dangles so hopefully, I can pull one of these off myself. I use Fabri Tac more than any of the multitude of glues I have in my stash and want to find a pin top bottle specifically for that. TFS sweetness. Toodleoo.
Thank you for sharing, I just ordered the pumpkin one from the Texas shop, as I’ve never made one. Sweet of you to send us there. Hopefully I won’t lose it....
Love these charms oh my gosh beautiful. The music Clair de Lune was my parents love song. Every time I hear it it brings their memory back to me with a bit of a tear in my eyes. I love that music.
Oh my gosh these are so pretty!!! And useful too!!! I have a very hard time working with things that are small. You should see me putting charms on my journal pages!!! LOL It's a sight to see!!!
These are so pretty and thank you for showing us how easy they are (especially if you have tons of tiny beads like I do). Your nails look gorgeous, great color! Thank you Tracie. Gail
Your bottle charms are pretty. So cute! thank you for sharing this tutorial. These remind me of stick pin charms and handbag charms: same concept but using a long hat pin or a clasp. There are lots of tutorials for those on RUclips if anyone is looking for inspiration. I'm tempted to make a couple for myself, but personally as I don't use all my glues all the time I would use the charms when I'm using a glue bottle, so I don't need to re-cap it all the time, but I'd put the glue top back on when I'm not using it. Tip: if you're using a dressmakers or hat pin (rather than a thicker eye pin that has the loop at the top) small bead bails are great for attaching charms to the pin, or you could put one of the chain links directly onto the pin between 2 beads :)
Love the dangle. I had a few of these bottles but I tossed them in the never use pile as I found they let in too much air and dried out the glue, BUT I don't use quite as much glue as you ladies do so maybe if it doesn't sit longer than a week they might work fine. I have another style of top that has a rubber top that comes over the whole hole and seals out air and has an attachment loop so you don't lose the top so maybe I will make a dangle for that one. Thank-you lovely lady for making these, they look like fun. Have a wonderful day/evening!!! AMB...Rose
Thanks for the tutorial and the link. I bought one of them since I'm in the US, but I have an assortment of wooden, bone, and clay beads that I would love to use in making one of my own.
I like someone else who commented have been using these bottles for a long time and never thought to decorate them. I’ve bought my beads on holiday with me so may be a little project when we pull into our new camp tomorrow. I’ve not used with any other glues only the white glues. If you use stainless steel pins as you mentioned I can’t see why it wouldn’t work. Worth a try 😘❤️💕❤️😘TFS
Hi hun! I have two little bottles. One has PVA tacky glue and the other has a clear glue. (Not fabritac) Both no problems, although I did find to keep them both topped up and not get to low, or they dry up a lot quicker. Love love the dangles, I loved Jens when I saw hers, but was too big, it never occurred to me to make my own lol. Going to give it a go soon! Thanks for sharing! 😘💜☺
I just found this video after having asked if you would consider making a tutorial and here it is, you already did...;) pay no attention to me...lol Hugs from Arizona...;)
What a great idea. I do not have a glue bottle to stopper lol but I still find myself wanting to make one anyway and re purpose it for something else lol
I'm hoping someone in the community can share what pins will not rust!!! I have bought different kinds and they are all rusting. Making dangles now that I watched both.....thanks girls!!!!They`re wonderful and easy to find when the "pin" tries to hide😉
Great job! I saw Izzy video where she show the glue topper and I love it! It never occurs to me to alter the pin at all, thanks for showing you way tfs hugs Yorlis
I have purchased a few stopper toppers from West Texas Sass and the only thing about them is the head pins bend and do break off....I am looking for long pins like you used to make myself.....awesome video!!!
oh my I was literally silently laughing and tearing up at my desk at work....."what I will do.....is LOSE that infinity symbol I've just made...." I don't know why that tickled me so bad. Loved the uplifting to my afternoon, Tracie! (also, the glue dangles are gorgeous!)
Beautiful! I had seen Moira McDonald use one on her glue bottles and, I wondered about them and how they would fair over time and use - if they would be cumbersome or get gunky throughout use. Sometimes, decorative form over function wins!! 😊 Such fun! 💗
Unreal Tracie. I was going to have a go at making these too. The glue that jewellery makers use is E6000 if you ever have a chance to get some. Go for glass headed sewing pins. These are stainless steel. There are cheap ones out there that rust but all dressmaking pins are stainless steel. So need to make some this weekend My friend Phill Martin will be tickled pink you like his glue. Cosmic shimmer is the range he has of inks, sprays, embossing powders etc. Very good quality products. He has two shops too as well as tv for Creative Expressions So glad you are happier today Weather been rubbish up here in Scotland wind howling Hugs xxx
Huni its not great done here either. Very dull, wind, saying that...the sun is out right now LOL WOW, you know the glue guy! I do not have any sprays at all except a few I made myself and a shimmer that no longer works lol so I will look into his brand. :-D How cool, xxx
So cute!!! I have placed and order but have not yet heard from her. I am soooo excited to receive mine!!! ;) If it doesn't come soon, I will be trying my own....so thank you for sharing!!! :) k
Thanks for the tutorial. Natalie's toppers are gorgeous but West Texas Sass doesn't deliver to Canada either so I have been trying to create one myself. This tutorial has inspired me to go shopping for some supplies and try one (or more for friends) this weekend.
Yes! I tootook notice of the greatly fab JenOfEve's BeJeweled glue bottle tassel! You've landed tremendous success w/your styles, LoveLOVELove! And it's on The List over here at the PaperArtStudio for sure for sure. FunFUNFun! ~X🌾🌸🌿X~
I have used stainless headpins as stoppers for years... just never thought to 'decorate' them up :/ When I saw Jen Of Eve's gift from West Texas Sass I went straight away to her shop and purchased one. All i can say is WOW!. She creates quality "stopper toppers" with beautiful beads, and at an awesome price. You have now inspired me to try and make my own Tracie... TFS
Hi Tracy, they are just lovely. Over here in Holland I dont think I can buy fabritec but we do have lots of other glues. I don't have a problem with fab tac coming out of the micro bottles. Since Ive used them this summer where its hot might be the different in thickness of the glue and the ability for it to come out
I love these I believe you can get stainless steel dressmaking pins with pearl bead on top they are a wee bit longer than other dressmaking pins. I have some when I was making Christmas ornaments

Thanks huni for watching. I do not expect them to last forever but I can remove my jump ring when the time comes and put onto a new pin :-D xx These are cheap bottles and I am sure the pins will be too as they came in the bottle xxx
Wow... britbits.. your starting to become my morning tele.. lol! Love your stopper topper..and your take on it. Lorelle, with forever purple creations uses a different bottle for her fabric tac. That has a metal tip. She says it works amazing and stops it from oozing. Xo 🤗
I use a pierced earring back to hang the chain and dangled from. Glue it under your pin bead and you won’t have to create the double circle thing, Hope that makes sense.

Great idea,, do u have a link for Jen of Eve designs on her dangles, having trouble finding it
This is a great idea! Love it!
Thank you for showing us how to make the glue danglers ,I cannot find stainless steel pins with the coloured ball heads. I’m from Sydney Australia ?
The only ones I can get here is the ones from the Art Glitter Glue. Sorry I cant help xx
So pretty! I saw them on jenofeve too and immediately went to the West Texas Sass etsy shop. It's on my favorites list to hopefully purchase soon!
What a great idea. I do not have a glue bottle to stopper lol but I still find myself wanting to make one anyway and re purpose it for something else lol
Hehehe, sometimes we have to make something because we can, not because we need it LOL xx

LOL xxx Yep. It was not the first! LOL
Lovely
Beautiful colors to.
I have used the bottles with just plain dress pins in the top.
thanks Tracie, another project to do, I have tried fabritac in these bottles and couldnt get it to work, which was a real shame.
Yours are beautiful too!!
great vid Tracie going to have a go tonight whilst watching TV ;0)
Beautiful! I had seen Moira McDonald use one on her glue bottles and, I wondered about them and how they would fair over time and use - if they would be cumbersome or get gunky throughout use. Sometimes, decorative form over function wins!! 😊 Such fun! 💗

Oh it was a bit tricky but the more you try :-D xx
I have used stainless headpins as stoppers for years... just never thought to 'decorate' them up :/ When I saw Jen Of Eve's gift from West Texas Sass I went straight away to her shop and purchased one. I wish I could have purchased. I LOVE hers. xx
she also has a group on FB facebook.com/groups/thepapercraftexchange/
Hi Tracy, they are just lovely. Over here in Holland I dont think I can buy fabritec but we do have lots of other glues.
I do happen to have exactly the same little bottles that come with the pins and was warned that some glues might have a chemical reaction with those bottles so you got to try it out with just a little bit of the glue you want to use it with. I use only 1 of them so far with Alleene's tacky glue and that works great although I did need to water it down a bit for it was far too thick and would not come out.

Ah cool, I will give fabritac a try then :-D Thanks x
These are lovely! TFS
What a snazzy idea I also lose these pins, I will probably use neon beads to help me locate the pins😊
I love these I believe you can get stainless steel dressmaking pins with pearl bead on top they are a wee bit longer than other dressmaking pins. I have some when I was making Christmas ornaments
Tracy, thanks for sharing this idea! I have used stainless steel pins in the past in my glue bottles and they ended up rusting, so I don't know exactly what type of stainless steel pins are good to use. Thanks again!
You have to make sure they're of good quality and from a reputable source. Many are simply stainless steel coating, which isn't going to work, long term.
Thanks huni for watching. I do not expect them to last forever but I can remove my jump ring when the time comes and put onto a new pin :-D xx These are cheap bottles and I am sure the pins will be too as they came in the bottle xxx
I love them thanks for the tutorial hugs
Thanks so Much!!! GREAT JOB!
Wow... britbits.. your starting to become my morning tele.. lol! Love your stopper topper..and your take on it. Lorelle, with forever purple creations uses a different bottle for her fabric tac. That has a metal tip. She says it works amazing and stops it from oozing. Xo 🤗
Ah cool....I need to know what that is LOL xxx Thank you sweetheart xx
Tracie Fox LoveJunk Journals your so welcome! I will find out for you!!
I use a pierced earring back to hang the chain and dangled from. Glue it under your pin bead and you won’t have to create the double circle thing, Hope that makes sense.
Hehe, please check out the follow video to this!
Very Cute Tracie
Beautiful!
Just beautiful! Where do you get the little bottle with the tip?
I got them locally but there are similar on Amazon x
Beautiful dangle! Thanks for sharing:) where can I find stainless headpins that are long enough. I have only really short ones.
You always come with new brillant ideas ... it is great! ... Where can I buy those little glue bottels? I have found some in amazon, but not with the metal top.
I got mine from my local craft shop. It is a little independed trader so I am not sure where you can get them. I want more to try with different glues xx
Thanks, I will keep on looking for them.
So cute!
The Etsy store is no longer open. Sad to have missed that moment.
It is open we are taking a break as we have nothing physical to sell. The digital shop is open and we will be back with physical items soon :-D x
Tracie, I really love 💕 those & I’m sure their as good if not better than Natalie’s ones. Thank you so much Tracie I really love 💕 this xx Mags
I went to Maymay's MadeItCon in Tennessee last month and bought a couple of them at their shop. She uses eyepins and the bead at the top is not attached but snug enough it doesn't fall down. These are very cute but seem to have a tendency to bend so can be difficult getting back into the bottle. I'd make sure to take a bottle with you to test the pins before you buy them!
Good plan!
Hi Tracie, love your videos your fun to watch & craft along with. You asked if anyone uses the tiny plastic bottles for Fabritac. Here in Australia we have a product exactly the same called Helmar 450 & I bought two tiny bottles from Wish.com & this glue works really well in them so I would say Fabritac would be the same. I'm from Oz too! Never heard of helmar going to look up! Also little bottles are cheaper on joom. com and no post cost! Thanks for the tip!
I love this beautiful idea! These are so showy that you're unlikely to overlook your glue bottle.
Not only do I stamp everything with my Entomology stamps, now I want to glue everything LOL xxx
Hi You have to use Stainless Steel pins or it rusts. I put a reg pin in my bottle and it rusted. 🥰
I mention this in the vieo. I could not get them but now I use pins that come with the Art Glitter glue xx
