Awesome first climb, great start to the day , wasn't that rough air on tow prop wash ? Fantastic editing , the avri made if easy to see the highlights of the flight !
Hi James, yes... absolutely loving the Gecko. Undoubtedly the best glider I’ve owned in terms of ease to fly and performance. Unless I’m flying over 79kph, I can hold my own with topless gliders. Re the slow climb behind the Dragonfly, it is a little under propped and I think there was a bit of sink where we launched...
That first climb was bonkers. Well done.
Great to see the Dragonfly back in the air. A nice flight.
1000 ft to 11,000 ft straight of the tow release. Great climb.

I used to love flying out there...learnt to fly back in the day at Wongan Hills in the early 90's in my trusty Airborne Sting 2 XC.
Time to get back into it then!
@@drabsinwa180 I did/have/am 😃
Just another state.
Awesome flight, thanks. I'm guessing you like the Gecko. Why such a slow climb with the Dfly?

@@drabsinwa180 Thanks Drabs. I'm going to look into the cool animated GPS display you had too, that's really great.
Really nice landing!
