Sevarog in the off lane has always been a thing. Ever since Legacy, he's been a beast at defending his tower.

Hey ace, you can burst people down faster by jump attack and Q, jump attack is faster for sevarog (Jump attack is faster for Greystone as well). You need to focus more then just one minion when trying to get Q stacks more then one minion = better stacks and less mana consumption. You should look next to your Q to see how many stacks you have, simular to shinbis ult stacks. 200 is the maximum ammount of stacks you can get. I have more tips for sev, but if you want to get better with sev, watch BloodMordius's past streams with sev since he uses sevarog a lot of the time you can learn a lot of tips about sev to make it more efficient. keeps the videos coming, always fun to see how you play and learn more about offlane.
Ace, nice video and gameplay, at around 13:30 while chasing countess you should have ulted her into the walls around prime, allowing you to get free autos and siphons off!

I wish they would make the lane 1v1 again. It showed who was better(more skilled) in the offlane and duo lane. Thoughts?
Practical Deadshot kinda but it was also cancer since it limited team composition. Imagine going support and your ADC goes to the other lane. For cancerous reasons. It was better to just go with a solo hero to save that trouble. That's my opinion

Fat Asian Kid Nice point. Do you think they could add more team objectives. so far there are two. I don't have tons of experience in other mobas but they(Hos,Lol,ect) have tons of hard camps that the team or at least 3 ppl have to group up for. If they put something on the left side perhaps it would help(hopefully a giant dragon)

i really like sev becuse he is a very flexible charakter that works with low cooldown abilites but with high mana cost. this makes him very interesting to watch someone else play him.

I think you should always look out for OP's types of attacks. You could've stepped out of its DoT patch sooner and possibly survived (20 min mark)
Do people not normally do that? I only ever do offlane as a tank. I sometimes go tank jungle but everytime I go offlane it's a tank.

Gerome I really like madspore but with the lead we had it's ideal to sell it to reach endgame items quicker to close out the game :)

Dude use your Q on cd during teamfights , u waste a lot of time autoattacking which with his atk speed is kinda useless. Try to protect your support / carry and use ulti with root to give them 1-2 free kills , and always always spam q that's your "dps output" , also don't be afraid to spam subjucate in the waves to secure those juicy cs with the spell , this is ur only way to "flash farm" with this hero.

Ronald Shartzer III You want the carry and support to be in the lane nearest to Raptors for quick rotations as raptors are an early-mid game objective. Some teams swap early just to apply pressure on enemy towers but lane nearest to raptors is best

Casey Fitz exactly! these were panzy enemies. I dont know what to do against agressive players except let them eat my towers
Casey Fitz literally just let them, then farm and set up the split push, if they still pressure you to your tier 2, its an easy gank for the jungler, they're way overextended at your tier 2

Nicholas Wasting potential? his level 3 and 5 power spike is surreal and unmatched. He can set lanes quickly thanks to his root and siphon passive. His set up for ganks from mid and jungle are top tier and you could have another CC-hero like Grux in jungle with better jungle clear. Sev has a slow jungle clear early game.
Nicholas he can jungle but when you can have a grux jungle, why not? Same thing with Murdock... murdock is a good carry but why choose him when you can choose Rev? same concept
Nicholas kwang doesnt have that lvl 5 power spike since he relies on another hero to help secure the kill. he can root and ult but they can walk away from kwang lol

Jasper Cheng depends on your playstyle kwang, grey, severog, and aurora are common picks for offlane. There are alot of heros that can play the role but those are the most common picks in my elo

When and why does offlane switch with safelane. I see him go safelane after spending time in offlane, but idky he does it. I truly dont know much about this game
Ideally you want your carry to be closer to the raptors so if your offlaner is closer, when it comes to around 9 minutes you ideally switch so your carry can be there to contest or even take raptors

How exactly do you break the freeze
See at the start, when I hit Phase I was trying to bait them into hitting me. When they hit me, my minions instantly aggro'd them. When my minions are hitting enemy heroes, they are taking damage from the enemy minions. My minions die faster therefore wave pushes towards me :)
sevarog's q needs to be changed/fixed, i think they should replace the health and ability damage stacks passive with simply more damage on the q, i saw this bc you end up using your q way more than you need to just to get more health bc then it wastes so much mana then you have lil mana for your root and get away in team fights and then it forces you to put more mana and mana regen in your deck in turn forcing you to make a less tanky build which is what's best for sevarog's whole concept to begin with, his q just costs too much mana for the passive to be worth it, especially when the root is the heart of his kit, it's almost like they tried to make 2 cores of his kit and they contradict each other, the only way to make them work together is to change your build which then contradicts sevarog's whole play style and deck, i actually do better when i use root on minions and don't use my q on minions at all, bc then it saves mana so i can use root in team fights later on without having to rush back to base or rush to mid lane for river buffs, and then i quickly root and burst with his q

Maybe she blinded then Ult so it reduce CD and then blinded again
Ability pen on Sevarog like wtf.
The way Sevarog works is that he gets FREE ability damage, which is what his main source of damage is. So his Q, E and ultimate all do ability damage. When Sevarog gains stacks he gets FREE ability damage, +1 ability damage per stack. At 100 stacks you have 100 ability damage + any power you build. Therefore you want to build Sevarog late game with pretty much only pen and tank items as you can get 200 ability damage for free since his stacks cap at 200.
This is what makes Sevarog such a strong tank, he gets damage for FREE while being able to invest mostly into tank items.
Hope that explains it. I capped the word FREE not to be a dick but just to emphasise how good it is

Yuval Lvishiz grey is a grand hero but if you want a tank there are better tanks I'd prefer cc over the longevity of greystone
Ross Mc the pair in the video was way too soft on him, grey is way more reliable in left in terms of survival
Yuval Lvishiz you are quite right but from a team perspective I'll take a tower on the left relatively early to gain some utility in the mid-late game greystone doesn't bring as much to the table as other heros for making plays (apart from his ult of course)
Essentially I'd prefer a kwang for example because he can do some great things with his kit

Hells 6 mins for an Offlane Tower is somewhat normal, although he could have held it a bit longer. He respected the enemy Carry and Support and therefore played conservatively. Also, by letting the T1 go it allowed him to focus farming the Offlane camps for stacks
Thats very normal no matter what character when up against a phase and revnant now. Those two are cancerous together. However as morigesh and the new steel you can make your tower last a bit longer.
