I can relate… God blessed me with 2 boys (14 & 4)..i thank Him for giving me the capacity to parent each one differently accordent to their needs. But most time i fear i am not doing a good job as i am a single mum, the younger one has special needs & non verbal.. talks like this really encourage me to trust God for everytime i worry and how they will turn out in future.Thank you ladies, please don’t stop talking it out…all the way fr London🇬🇧
I have a 16 yr old boy. He talks with me about pretty much everything. I believe two things have contributed to this. 1. You have to show your kids that you trust them and tell them you trust them. They will naturally want to live up to that trust. 2. When they do stuff that is immoral or illegal, don't judge, just listen and accept where they are at in spite of how hard it is to see, or how much you want to tell them it's wrong. Most of all, don't give in to the fear if the thought that they will turn out bad. Have more faith in their creator than the faith in your assuming thoughts. Kids will work out what's good for them on their own accord.
When my children were little women were just beginning to seek work outside the home. I couldn't and although I thought it was important to stay home with my kids, I felt ashamed for not getting an outside job. It goes both ways, and though I don't feel that I lived up to my potential as a stay at home Mom, this message today would have made a big difference in our lives. No one person specifically shamed me but my circumstances and world view made me feel ashamed and less-than. Thank you ladies for all you do to help us understand.
Such a great discussion. Thanks a lot! Single, 32yo, living by God, no children and not sure if I want any outside of adopting. This is very nice. Some opinions and views that I am very glad to hear. I think society really only sees it as- God says get married and have kids and anything else is wrong. We need more convos like this.

Lots of tears on this episode. But I am so grateful and blessed as I watch this. As a mom of 2 kids , I feel like I am always not enough, that I am not doing enough. Even if I ave done my best , it is never enough. I feel like I am always making a mistake. Maybe because of my upbringing. Growing up not enough in the eyes of my parents has given me a lot of anxiety and insecurities. But listening to you all make me feel I am not alone , things i do for my kids matters in the future and they will remember. That God is in in control , that I dont need to fear for my children's future. That he is always there and I need to give that control to him. Thank God and Thank you ldies for that assurance. Love you all.

What a fabulously beautiful episode!!!!!! I shed many tears! I loved the tributes to the 3 moms who host this podcast! They were so very touching! Thanks to the staff who surprised them in this way! It was a beautiful gift! I loved the whole theme of the podcast that sometimes heartbreak is involved- that's so real and honest. Loved the Lisa Harper segment and just staying in the lane that God gave you. And, what a phenomenal prayer in the end by Joyce! She was shaking heaven & earth, in Jesus' name! My Mom just passed away in February and I cannot say what a blessing she was in my life! She was an ultimate mom motivated by love always! How I miss her! But, I have the blessed hope of seeing her again one day! Thank you!

Thank you so much for this podcast!! I know this was an answered prayer and guidance I asked Lord for. Dealing with teenage son has been difficult but I hold on to Romans 4:17. 🙏🏼
Thankyou so so much ladies. I so much needed to hear this, am so broken about my son who just turned 13 but hates school, his grades keep dropping, as i write this I have a conference coming up with his teacher coz she wants to talk with us about him. I have done all I know as a mom but I feel like a failure, like am the worst mother but this brought some peace & am hopeful. God bless you
This topic made me cry too..its really a heartfelt 😇🥰same here as a mom wants their kids to be good..thank you very encouraging and inspiring you as moms
Thank you for this topic. I am in that stage right now and so hard to accept it. But I know with God's help I will be able to accept this separation from my children and God will guide and protect them on their endeavor.
Ladies, I’m going through a bittersweet time with my son. He’s grown so much Spiritually in this past year. He’s moving with his family. I know they will be okay because God is with them. It’s a move that is much needed and God knew this was the time for them. As well for me because God heard my prayers in guiding him through till it was time for him to move. ❤
Great tough women are always blessed, blessed by the almighty, coz Great women who are always judged by others for their consent effort to rise above independently. They live their life on their own and for their people and this makes others to gossip about them with an envy, sometimes very sad to say SOME judge , gossips, interfere constantly in their lives, women with values don't really worry about building a brand for themself, she builds herelf stronger, with her tone, personality, attitude, voice, courage, boldness.I respect all the great women.

Can you please speak about being a parent of young to mid adult children. Some of my unresolved trauma affected my daughter. And to see her making some of the same decisions, it's like a mirror back at me. I blame myself. I tried to reach out to her father. I wanted us to go take a trip for both of us to visit her. She isn't safe from my eyes. I want to rescue her. But, when she did come back, I felt I just couldn't handle the direction she kept going. And feeling this is too much. It's so hard to let Go and trust God, to be patient, and know what ever it looks like, despite mistakes, to let God do his job. When there's mental health issues that get in the way, and addiction family history, it's heartbreaking to see you don't have the magic wand to fix it, and make it go away. Please Lord, help me and my young adult daughter to trust and know you better. Let us get to a place where shame and blame doesn't destroy the miracles you are able to do for us, and anyone else who is going through this as well.

Please pray for me. I have a chronic illness. My son is going through a very difficult time. His girlfriend of almost 3 years broke up with him. He is totally devastated. I am afraid he might harm himself. I have a broken 💔 watching him suffer.
Thank you SO much for your honest authentic open hearts sharing REAL everyday life. Thank you SO much for adopting children. For many years I do believe its God put on my mind to tell the world not to put more new people into this broken fallen evil world, but instead take care of the ones already here and take care of all ill, sick elderly people. Unfortunately world population has been increasing for many years and I feel so sorry for all the new people getting born into this world. Please dont get pregnant..Lets help each other insted, us already here.. - Much love to you all. Jesus is the way, truth and life John 14, 6
As I watch this, my living son (and his wife) and three stepchildren (through my late husband) have each estranged from me in some degree. So I definitely feel or wonder (as Jai) if they love me at all. I know they don’t like me right now as a person. But I feel like I was a good mother and stepmother. I knew this would be a difficult one to watch. Please pray with me that God will work out our relationships because I can’t do it on my own. In fact, I’m HEAVILY relying on Him alone.
We will be lifting you up in our prayers, Michelle. We hope these resources from Joyce at bit.ly/3yEOcsE and bit.ly/3qDYBke are a blessing to you at this time. -Team JMM
We are praying for you, Robin! We know it can be difficult to hold onto hope when things are hard in our lives. But that can be when being a prisoner to hope is the important thing. Check out bit.ly/2ktDgJ4 . We hope it's a blessing to you! -Team JMM
to all of the moms who have adult children who have removed themselves from the faith and/or from the family, this video does NOT discount the fact that you've been a GREAT mom. You have. I have 3 grown sons - my youngest is 23 and still loves me but has made some poor choices and claims to be gay. He is currently living with a guy in another state and both claim to be Christians but aren't pursuing God. He knows I don't agree with it. I love him and he knows it but we are distant currently. My middle one is 25 and walking tight with the Lord and we are very close. We were the most distant from each other until about 2 years ago. He is moving overseas for long-term missions in January. My heart! My oldest, who is 28, is the biggest issue. We were the closest as he grew up. He has turned from his faith, connected with a dark culture and now chooses to live as a woman. We have very little contact, not because we have ostracized him, but HE has ostracized us . Again, I know it's only temporary because God is working in all of their lives and we will be a whole family, serving Him together. I just don't know the timing. Stay the course, mom. Live your life. Give them to God and go to sleep. He's the only one who can change the situation anyway. "Talk about your children as if the situation is done!" - Joyce Meyer
